I recently read an article about some of Inter Milan's wishes to strengthen their squad for competitions and to be able to put together a solid project that will be able to truly fight Juventus.

Antonio Conte, current coach of Inter, is a very intelligent person who knows how to get the best out of each player, and also likes to build winning teams in the short term, he is not one of those coaches who think about the long term, his vision is to get a club to bring players of his confidence mostly experienced and then jump to other projects.

Conte's style of play is defensive, he likes his teams to be solid on the front line, loading the midfield with strong players and fast midfielders and tall, strong forwards, he is an old school coach so to speak.

Conte al jugar con una línea defensiva de tres jugadores no es necesario que sus laterales sean demasiados aplicados en defensa, sino que se proyecten al ataque, ahí en donde entran tanto Marcos Alonso y Emerson Palmieri, pues ambos ya conocen a Conte y se benefician del sistema táctico del Italiano.

Marcos Alonso es conocido por su gran capacidad para pisar el área rival y desde ahí marcar goles, además de poseer una gran altura lo que lo beneficia en el juego aéreo y sobre todo no se debe olvidar la gran capacidad que tiene con el juego a balón parado, algo por lo que destaca.

Por su lado Emerson no posee tantas cualidades como Marcos Alonso, sin embargo es mucho más aplicado en defensa. Reforzar su zaga defensiva ha de ser prioridad para Conte, pues es la parte más envejecida del equipo “neroazurro”.

¿Será este el año del Inter? ¿Podrá arrebatarle el título de liga a la Juventus?

Yo creo que sí, el Inter ya tiene trabajada la idea de Conte y ha armado un equipo bastante sólido en todas sus líneas, recordar que es el actual subcampeón de la Europa League, juego que mereció ganar, y algo en lo que el Inter tiene ventaja es en la juventud de su técnico rival, Andrea Pirlo.
