My Actifit Report Card: August 25 2022
It was an okay writing day today, which actually surprised me because most of my day was spent tweaking and nudging Alter Data. Sometimes my editing process can add length, but since Alter Data is made in PowerPoint I was much more crunched for space than usual.
By the end I got about 3000 words, between Alter Data and another thing I’m working on (nothing interesting for a general audience, unfortunately). I’m aiming for a release tomorrow now that I’ve figured out how to get Inkscape to do what I want.
My computer is still out for repair, which makes some of this work a little trickier, and I miss Affinity for this sort of work. My old workflow was also just faster because my machine was faster (this computer’s actually not bad, but the RAM is not holding up to my various needs and it causes occasional stuttering. The only thing that ever crashes is Inkscape.
Very tired, but I expect to get Alter Data out by noon tomorrow.
