My Actifit Report Card: August 16 2023

Footloose Strikes Again!

I started the day with a walk with my pet dog along the river and it's been months since we haven't visited the place as I was assigned mostly on day shift and we are also hampered by the two successive typhoons that hit my locality. So when I was informed yesterday that I will be transferred to a dayshift, I slept early to prepare myself for the walk and we started along the trail in between rice paddies.

Then we continued walking until we reached the riverbank.

Before we headed for home, I took a selfie with my buddy under the shade of towering rain trees.

And of course, I also took a photo of her while she is having a beauty rest with wildflowers surrounding her.

Fast forward to the evening grind, I took a picture of the setting sun while walking on my way to our substation.

Then started walking again along the perimeter to start our routinary rounds with my co-guard.
