Visit to the University City

It was a relaxing walk through the gardens of the Central University of Venezuela, I undertook this trip by chance. Some relatives were going to carry out an activity in those spaces and invited me. For me, weekends are always the right time to start these walks, as they are days to rest and release tension; I made an exception, although it was the middle of the week. Knowing that nature was going to be our setting, I did not hesitate to accept. In other occasions I have had to get to the university, to punctual cases, and going through it in the middle of errands is complicated. Its facilities are really worth visiting, but its terrain covers many areas of road and to know it all, it is better to plan several days.

Visita a la >Ciudad Universitaria

Fue un paseo relajante por los jardines de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, me emprendí a este viaje por casualidad. Unos familiares iban a realizar una actividad en esos espacios y me invitaron. Para mí, los fines de semana siempre son los adecuados para iniciar estas caminatas, ya que son días de descanso y de liberar tensión; hice una excepción, aunque era mitad de semana. Sabiendo que la naturaleza iba a ser nuestro escenario, no vacilé en aceptar. En otras ocasiones he tenido que llegar a la universidad, a casos puntuales, y recorrerla en medio de diligencias es complicado. Realmente sus instalaciones son dignas de visitar, pero su terreno abarca muchas áreas de camino y para conocerla toda, es mejor planificar varios días.

In the year 2000, the Central University of Venezuela was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In it there are valuable works of art and sculptures that adorn its gardens and facades, which hold many beliefs for all those who are part of this majestic enclosure. It is also considered the best University in Venezuela, since it enjoys great prestige because its teaching is of quality because it has famous professors who are at the height of teaching and for the time of its foundation there are many recognized personalities in the country, who have graduated in its Aula Magna.

En el año 2000, la Universidad Central de Venezuela, fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. En ella existen obras de artes y esculturas valiosas que adornan sus jardines y fachadas, que guardan muchas creencias para todos los que forman parte de este majestuoso recinto. También es considerada la mejor Universidad de Venezuela, ya que goza de mucho prestigio dado que su enseñanza es de calidad porque que cuenta con célebres profesores que están a la altura de la enseñanza y por el tiempo de su fundación son muchos las personalidades reconocidas en el país, que se han graduado en su Aula Magna.

While the family group was located in a place to perform their activities, I decided to walk through its vegetation on a very cool day and enjoy the view that I had before my eyes to take pictures, I walked through its corridors and can observe some young people sitting on the pavement, hanging out or interacting on a topic of interest, many of them are starting in the different careers offered by the university. For those of us who have already gone through this experience of studying and getting together, we know of the pleasant and unique memories we lived in those moments as students; with our classmates, with the professors, with the campus as such, which became our home, we know that it is an inseparable bond.

Mientras el grupo familiar se ubicó en un sitio para realizar sus actividades, yo decidí caminar por su vegetación en un día muy fresco y disfrutar de la vista que tenía ante mis ojos para aprovechar de tomar fotos, caminé por sus corredores y puede observar algunos jóvenes sentados en su pavimento, pasando el rato o interactuando de algún tema de interés, muchos de ellos se están iniciando en las diferentes carreras que brinda la universidad. Para los que ya pasamos por esta experiencia de estudiar y reunirnos, sabemos de los recuerdos gratos y únicos que vivimos en esos momentos como estudiantes; con nuestros compañeros de clase, con los profesores, con el recinto como tal, que se volvió nuestra casa, sabemos que es un vínculo inseparable.

The University has in its spaces the University Hospital of Caracas, a public health center that has many services and attends a large population of patients. It also provides training services to all those students who study medicine, and are doing postgraduate studies, scientific research, among other specialties, under the supervision of the competent authorities. The health center can be said to be the bridge for their practices.

La Universidad tiene en sus espacios el Hospital Universitario de Caracas, un centro de salud público que cuenta con muchos servicios, atiende una gran población de pacientes. También presta servicio de entrenamiento a todos aquellos estudiantes que estudian medicina, y están realizando posgrado, Investigaciones Científicas, entre otras especialidades, bajo la supervisión de las autoridades competentes. El centro de salud se puede decir, que es el puente para sus prácticas.

The Venezuelan architect Carlos Raul Villanueva, well known for his modern constructions, is the protagonist of all those buildings, or faculties that are found in the Central University of Venezuela where all of them stand out for being different areas. When you arrive at the University City, you find an extraordinary place, wrapped between nature and its buildings that stand out from each other, you get lost in its long corridors and transports you with its artistic works, where the chirping of birds and the leaves that you step on unite in a charming melody. There are still many places to visit, as far as I can I will give you another tour. A hug.

El arquitecto Carlos Raúl Villanueva venezolano, muy reconocido por sus construcciones modernas, es el protagonista de todos esos edificios, o facultades que se encuentran en la Universidad Central de Venezuela donde todos destacan por ser áreas diferentes. Al llegar a la Ciudad Universitaria, te encuentras con un sitio extraordinario, envuelta entre la naturaleza y sus edificaciones que destacan unas de otras, te pierdes en sus largos pasillos y te transporta con sus obras artísticas, donde el trinar de las aves y la hojarasca que pisas se unen en una melodía encantadora. Todavía hay muchos sitios por conocer, en la medida que pueda les haré otro recorrido. Un abrazo.
