Encounter With Nature

The weekend and my activity was scheduled to go to the park. I could see a crowd of people entering the park, I was surprised, it had been a long time since I had been there. The Miranda Park is one of the most visited, its vegetation and the great extension of land allows the visitor to camp under the shadows of the trees, to exercise and to rest in its grass, in its walkway you can always see people doing warm-up exercises, both young people and adults.

El fin de semana y mi actividad estaba programada para ir al parque. Pude ver una multitud de gente que entraba al parque, estaba sorprendida, hacía mucho tiempo que no venía. El Parque Miranda es uno de los más visitados, su vegetación y la gran extensión de terreno permite al visitante acampar bajo las sombras de los árboles, a realizar ejercicios y a descansar en su grama, en su caminería se observa siempre personas haciendo ejercicios de calentamiento, tanto personas jóvenes como adultos.

Its large gardens let you see its vegetation and large shrubs that move with their branches defying gravity, in a very green surface and in others very dry. As we know, our country is a tropical climate; hot and rainy, now it is too hot and we can observe the contrast: some bushes with their green leaves that maintain their water reserve and others that are shedding their branches due to the drought. We already know that climate change affects the whole world, severely impacting soils, flora and fauna and all living things.

Sus grandes jardines dejan ver su vegetación y grandes arbustos que se desplazan con sus ramas desafiando la gravedad, en una superficie de mucho verde y en otras de mucha sequía. Como sabemos, nuestro país es un clima tropical; caliente y lluvioso, ahora es demasiado caluroso y podemos observar el contraste: unos arbustos con sus hojas verdes que mantienen su reserva de agua y otros que se desojan por la sequía. Ya sabemos que el cambio climático afecta a todo el mundo, impactando severamente a los suelos, a la flora y la fauna y a todo ser vivo.

At this time walking under the sun at noon I can feel the sun burning me, therefore, we must hydrate a lot and go out with sunscreen to protect us, but not stop enjoying nature, because the encounter with it gives us peace, we breathe fresh air and presents us with a charming landscape with its tones and contrasts, I love to see the children running after a ball and their parents relaxing under the shade of the trees, also the park has artificial lakes, where the public can ride on boats and enjoy a ride, exhibition of some animals, which are the distraction of the visitor, has kiosks to eat and people selling knick-knacks.

En estos momentos caminar bajo el sol a pleno mediodía puedo sentir el sol quemándome, por lo tanto, debemos hidratarnos mucho y salir con protector solar para protegernos, pero no por ello dejo de disfrutar de la naturaleza, ya que el encuentro con ella nos brinda paz, respiramos aire puro y nos presenta un paisaje encantador con sus tonos y contrastes, me encanta ver los niños correteando tras una pelota y sus padres relajándose bajo la sombra de los árboles, además el parque cuenta con lagos artificiales, donde el público puede montarse en lanchas y disfrutar de un paseo, exhibición de algunos animales, que son la distracción del visitante, cuenta con kioscos para comer y personas que venden chucherías.

My plan to come to the park was especially to an Agricultural and Livestock Expo Fair that was being advertised in the media during the week and was going to last a few days and today was the last day. To go to the Fair I first have to go through Miranda Park, then I arrive at Bolivar Park, which I could take advantage of to take my pictures as I was doing the tour in an environment of natural scenery. But when I arrived at the entrance of the other park I found an alcabala, where the officials in charge did not let me pass to the fair. The reason was that you had to pay to enter. I didn't care, I wanted to go to the fair, but when I saw the long, long, long line, I got discouraged, I decided to go back and look for another path to rest and eat an ice cream.

Mi plan de venir al parque era especialmente a una Expo Feria Agropecuaria que la estuvieron anunciando en los medios de comunicación durante la semana e iba a durar unos días y hoy era el último día. Para ir a la Feria primero tengo que pasar por el Parque Miranda, luego llego al Parque Bolívar, lo que pude aprovechar de sacar mis imágenes a medida que hacía el recorrido en un ambiente de paisaje natural. Pero al llegar a la entrada del otro parque me encontré con una alcabala, donde funcionarios encargados no dejaban pasar a la feria. La razón era que había que pagar para poder entrar. No me importó quería ir a la feria, pero cuando veo la cola tan, tan, larga, me desanimé, decidí regresarme y buscar otro sendero para descansar y comerme un helado.

The enjoyment was total, I decided to come because we are entering a long weekend due to Holy Week, I wanted to meditate a little, to start the week preparing for a long walk, which is the procession of the Nazarene. See you on my next walk.

El disfrute fue total, yo decidí venir porque ya entramos en un fin de semana largo debido a la Semana Santa, quería meditar un poco, para comenzar la semana preparándome para una caminata larga, que es la procesión del Nazareno. Nos vemos en mi próximo paseo.
