Another part of Chacao Municipality

Greetings, friends of Actifit, my activity today is focused on going to the municipality of Chacao, which is east of Caracas. I think this municipality is the dream place for many, to live and make life here. A quiet place, very colorful, it is very pleasant to walk through its streets. The urban passage is characterized by its residential buildings with very warm colors, which highlight and beautify the sector, it is also the central point to reach the Altamira square, which is very busy, the La Estancia Center, a place where they do cultural activities, and other places that may be of interest to those who want to know the municipality.

Otra Parte Del Municipio Chacao

Un saludo, amigos de Actifit, mi actividad de hoy está centrada en ir al municipio Chacao, que nos queda al este de Caracas. Pienso que este municipio es el lugar soñado para muchos, para vivir y hacer vida aquí. Un lugar tranquilo, muy vistoso, es muy agradable caminar por sus calles. El pasaje urbano se caracteriza por sus edificios residenciales con colores muy cálidos, que resaltan y embellecen el sector, también es el punto central para llegar a la plaza Altamira, que es muy concurrida, el Centro La Estancia, un recinto, donde hacen actividades culturales, y otros lugares que pueden ser de interés para quienes quieran conocer el municipio.

Walking and enjoying my walk, I arrived at this church, the Divino Pastor, with a neoclassical construction. I continued on my way. This part around here is Bello Campo, with Coromoto street, there are residential buildings and many stores.

Caminando y disfrutando mi paseo, llegué a esta iglesia el Divino Pastor, con una construcción neoclásica. Seguí mi camino. Esta parte por aquí es Bello Campo, con calle Coromoto, se encuentran edificios residenciales y muchos comercios.

Curiously, this urbanization, although it is an exclusive area, we can find neighborhoods where low-income people live, who for many years spend the night in this sector. Over time, when the municipality of Chacao began to be urbanized, these neighborhoods were embedded in the heart of the sector, forming part of a whole community where they relate to each other in cultural and religious activities.

Curiosamente, esta urbanización, aunque es una zona exclusiva, en ella podemos encontrar barrios donde viven personas de bajos recursos, que durante muchos años pernoctan en este sector. Con el tiempo cuando comenzó a urbanizarse el municipio Chacao, estos barrios quedaron enclavados en el corazón del sector, formando parte de toda una comunidad donde se relacionan mutuamente en las actividades culturales y religiosas.

If we continue walking, we can reach the Altamira sector, where we find important financial centers and many stores and restaurants. A very outstanding building: the British tower, its square, and the large walls painted with flowers, a mural that extends several meters, a block long, painted by the painter Raymond Romero, a Venezuelan plastic artist. This initiative promoted by the state allows to give life to public spaces and change the face of the city, also giving the opportunity to different artists to express themselves through art and to make their works known. That's all, see you on my next walk, it was a pleasure, what better walk to finish with these beautiful murals.

Si seguimos caminando, podemos llegar al sector Altamira, donde encontramos importantes centros financieros y muchos comercios y restaurantes. Un edificio muy destacado: la torre británica, su plaza, y los grandes paredones pintados de flores, un mural que se extiende a varios metros, de una cuadra, pintado por el pintor Raymond Romero, artista plástico venezolano. Con esta iniciativa impulsada por el estado permite darle vida a los espacios públicos y cambiar el rostro de la ciudad, dándole también la oportunidad a los diferentes artistas que se expresen a través del arte y puedan darse a conocer sus obras. Es todo los veo en mi próxima caminata, fue un placer, que mejor caminata que terminar con estos bellos murales.
