Walking: An Alternative for Health

Greetings, Actifit friends. I've been very active on the streets since early in the morning, running various errands. Leaving the house for my walk has become a habit, and I look forward to it because my body needs it; it's adapting every day. This also allows me to avoid being confined to my house, avoiding a sedentary lifestyle, and giving me the opportunity to breathe fresh air on my walks around the city.

Caminar: Una Alternativa Para La Salud

Un saludo, amigos de Actifit. Estoy muy activa en la calle desde temprano, con diversas diligencias. Salir de casa para mi caminata, se ha convertido en una costumbre y la espero con ansias porque mi cuerpo la necesita, se está adaptando cada día, esto me permite también a no estar encerrada en casa, evitando el sedentarismo, me da la oportunidad de respirar el aire fresco en mi recorrido por la ciudad.

Finally, the last errand had me gliding through the subway, stopping at several stations. The last station I arrived at was to head to Sabana Grande, a sector in the east of Caracas. As I walk along and cross its avenues, you can see the daily movement of people walking, visiting shops, and crossing the streets. It's school vacation, and there are many people on the streets, already looking for school supplies, haggling over prices.

Finalmente, la última diligencia me hizo deslizarme por el metro y hacer paradas por varias estaciones. La última estación, donde llegue, fue para dirigirme a Sabana Grande, sector al este de la ciudad de Caracas, Mientras avanzo y cruzo por sus avenidas, puedes ver el movimiento diario de personas caminando, visitando tiendas y cruzando las avenidas. Estamos de vacaciones escolares, hay mucha gente en la calle, buscando ya, los útiles escolares, regateando precios.

I'm at the El Recreo Shopping Center, looking for a cell phone for my brother. I'm just checking out models and prices for now. However, I can't help but look at some window displays.

Vengo al Centro Comercial El recreo, estoy en busca de un celular para un hermano, solo averiguando modelos y precios por los momentos. Sin embargo, no puedo evitar ver algunas vidrieras.

Every scene I experience on the street always disconnects me, and at the end of the day, I feel like walking makes me feel healthy.

Cada escenario que vives en la calle, me desconecta siempre y al final del día, siento que la caminata me hace sentir saludable.
