A big hello to my friends at Actifit! As always, my activity today has a purpose: this time, it's a walk to compare prices. Christmas is just around the corner, and we always prepare for these holidays, treating our families and friends to delicious meals. During this time, everyone forgets about their diets. I've decided to make a ham bread, so I went for a walk to find out the prices of the ingredients and buy them in advance.

Un Adelanto Para La Navidad

Un gran saludo amigos de Actifit, como siempre mi actividad de hoy tiene un propósito, esta vez caminar para buscar precios, resulta que falta poco para la Navidad y siempre nos preparamos para estos días festivos, agasajando a nuestras familias y amigos con deliciosas comidas, en esos días todo el mundo se olvida de la dieta. Yo he decidido realizar un pan de jamón. Y he salido a caminar para averiguar los precios de los ingredientes y comprarlos por adelantado.

I went to the Catia market, which is where you can find the most affordable prices. Although there's a lot of competition, prices are fairly consistent in many shops. I walked all over the market comparing prices and the quality of the goods. I always do this; I walk around the entire market again and again, looking for quality and good prices. I started by looking for ham and bacon.

Me he dirigido al mercado de Catia, que es el lugar donde se encuentran los precios más solidarios. Aunque hay mucha competencia, los precios se mantienen en muchos negocios. He caminado todo el sector comparando precios y la calidad de la mercancía. Siempre hago esto, camino una y otra vez por todo el mercado, buscando calidad y buenos precios. In the end, I decided to buy from a shop that was offering me the cheapest and best quality deli meats. I still needed to buy other things, but once I found the most important items, I slowed down and took my time, searching and examining everything that interested me. When you come to these places, the whole morning just slips away, and before you know it, it's two in the afternoon. It always happens to me.

Al final me decidí por comprar en un negocio que me estaba ofertando, la charcutería más barata y de buena calidad. Me quedaba por comprar otras cosas, pero al encontrar lo más importante, bajé los niveles y mi caminata la hice con más dedicación, buscando y escudriñando todo lo que me interesaba. Cuando vienes a estos sitios se te va toda la mañana y cuando te das cuenta ya son las dos de la tarde. Siempre me pasa.

Besides buying the essential ingredients, the bread also requires other components, which I bought at different places. Now I need some boxes to put the bread in. We thought it would be a good way to make some artisanal bread and sell it, but we need to plan it very carefully. If I end up making it, I'll show you. Well, my walk is almost over. It was a long day, walking all over the market, but the important thing is that I found everything I needed. Fortunately, the weather was nice and cool. Además de comprar lo más importante, el pan lleva también otros ingredientes, que los fui comprando en diferentes sitios. Ahora necesito unas cajas para meter el pan. Hemos pensado que sería una buena ayuda económica, hacer unos panes artesanales y ponerlos a la venta, pero tenemos que planificarlo muy bien. Si llegará a prepararlos, se los enseñó. Bueno, mi caminata está por terminar. Fue un día rudo, caminar por todo el mercado, lo importante es que encontré todo lo que necesitaba.
