I'm feeling energetic today and ready to get started. I'm sending you all my warmest greetings. I'm attending a demonstration where about 500 people will be gathering to demand back pay. We've been fighting for a long time to get fair compensation. We've been in constant meetings with officials who will be responsible for allocating the funds to pay the affected workers.

Un día con bastantes energías para emprender mi actividad y saludarlos con mucho cariño. Hoy voy a una convocatoria, donde nos vamos a reunir unas 500 personas para el reclamo de salarios caídos; desde hace mucho tiempo estamos en esta lucha para lograr un pago justo. Desde hace un largo rato hemos estado en constantes reuniones con funcionarios que serán los que destinen el dinero para el pago a los trabajadores afectados.

Well, I had to go to the site and make my presence known, to find out what the guidelines were. Since there were so many people there, the plaza felt too small. Today we had to sign a document that supports our demands. But the huge crowd made it hard for me to take many pictures.

Bueno, me tocó ir al sitio y hacer acto de presencia, para saber cuáles son los lineamientos. Como había mucha concurrencia de personas, la plaza quedó pequeña ante tanta gente. Hoy teníamos que firmar un documento que avala nuestras peticiones. Pero la multitud de tanta gente no me dejo tomar muchas fotos.

However, I managed to get a few. The gathering was scheduled for the morning. While we were meeting at one spot and then marching to the final destination, Lina Ron Plaza, I took many photos from there during a walk I took for my daily errands. Now I'm back; this time we're going to sign the petition to add our signatures and endorse the action with our presence. The signatures collected today seem to be the final step in this whole ordeal.

Sin embargo, logré algunas. La convocatoria estaba pautada para la mañana. Mientras nos reuníamos en un sitio y luego de ahí marcharíamos hacia el punto definitivo, que es la Plaza Lina Ron, una vez tomé muchas fotos desde ese lugar en una caminata que hice para cumplir con mi actividad diaria. Ahora estoy de vuelta; en esta oportunidad vamos a firmar para anexar y avalar con nuestra presencia. Las firmas que se recogieron en el día de hoy. Parece ser el último paso de todo este calvario.

Once the expected moment had arrived, we could leave, until another opportunity. I hope to finish this soon, because a lot of time is being wasted. Here's my glimpse of what happened today in our city. I'm a little tired, but I was able to take some more pictures of the surrounding area.

Cumplido el momento esperado, nos podíamos retirar, hasta una nueva oportunidad. Espero finiquitar esto pronto, porque se pierde mucho tiempo. Aquí les dejo mi muestra de lo acontecido en el día de hoy en nuestra ciudad. Estoy un poco cansada, pude hacer otras tomas de los alrededores.
