Taking Advantage Of The Sunrise

Happy Carnival, friends of the Actifit community. Getting up very early at dawn is very difficult for me, but when I have to do it for some reason, afterwards I find it pleasant to walk through the empty streets, feel that cold that chills your body, and just hear your footsteps breaking the silence along with the birds singing. I like it because I enjoy that moment of stillness where everything remains calm and frozen in time for an instant.

Aprovechando El Amanecer

Felices carnavales amigos de la comunidad de Actifit. Levantarme muy temprano al amanecer me cuesta mucho, pero cuando lo tengo que hacer por algún motivo, después me resulta placentero caminar por las calles vacías, sentir ese frío que te hiela el cuerpo, y el solo oír tus pasos que rompen el silencio junto con el canto de las aves, me gusta, porque disfruto ese momento de quietud donde todo permanece en calma y detenido en el tiempo por un instante.

But that fear also creeps inside you, and you're on the lookout for some monster that's going to attack you, because that dark curtain of dawn, besides being pleasant, is also mysterious.

Pero también se cuela ese miedo dentro de ti y estás al acecho de que algún monstruo te va a atacar, ya que esa cortina oscura del amanecer, además de agradable, resulta también misteriosa.

These are strange feelings that cross your mind when you're alone, and distances seem longer. I was heading out first to meet some cousins; we had arranged to meet at their house to go out together. After meeting up, we were going to drive down to the subway station to be on time. It all turned out to be a fiasco, since the person who was supposed to take us to the station called at that hour saying that something unexpected had come up.

Son sensaciones extrañas que se te cruzan cuando vas sola, y las distancias parecen más largas. Me dirijo primero a encontrarme con unas primas; habíamos quedado en encontrarnos en su casa para salir todas juntas. Luego de vernos, íbamos a bajar en carro hacia la estación del metro para estar a tiempo. Todo resultó un fiasco, ya que la persona que nos iba a llevar hasta la estación llamó a esas horas diciendo que se le había presentado un imprevisto.

We had to walk to the station, while I relaxed to continue enjoying my stroll. The subway doors hadn't even opened yet, and there were already a lot of people waiting at the gate. I was surprised to see so many people at that time of the morning, since today is a holiday. Our trip was to visit some relatives who live in the city of Caucagua, located in the state of Miranda, and the journey is by bus, so I won't be taking pictures of the route; I don't know how safe the area is. However, I'll share my pictures of the sunrise in our community.

Tuvimos que dirigirnos a la estación caminando, mientras que yo me relajaba para seguir disfrutando mi caminata. El metro todavía no habría sus puertas y ya había mucha gente esperando en el portón. Me sorprendió ver la cantidad de personas a esas horas de la mañana, ya que hoy es día de fiesta. Nuestro paseo estaba destinado a visitar a unos familiares que viven en la ciudad de Caucagua, ubicada en el estado Miranda, y el trayecto es en autobús, por lo que no tomaré fotos del camino; no sé qué tan segura es la zona. Sin embargo, les dejo mis imágenes del amanecer en nuestra comunidad.
