Ver a tu equipo perder 3 finales de Copa Libertadores es doloroso y mucho más lo es si es de manera consecutiva. Esto es lo que viví siendo aficionado de Boca Juniors.
Seeing your team lose 3 Cup Libertadores finals is painful and even more so if it is in a row. This is what I experienced as a Boca Juniors fan.
Por desgracia, debido a mi edad no pude disfrutar de la época dorada. Donde se ganaba varios títulos internacionales y se llegó a ser campeón mundial contra el mismísimo Real Madrid. Empecé ver fútbol aproximadamente, en 2010. Por ende, solo vi desgracias con Boca.

⚪ CORINTHIANS 2 - 0 BOCA JUNIORS 🔵🟡 (2012)
No recuerdo demasiado de este partido por el tempo que pasó. 13 años es bastante tiempo. Lo que si recuerdo es que en esta final jugó Juan Román Riquelme. Que es uno de los mayores ídolos del club y actual presidente del mismo.
I don't remember too much about this match because of the time that passed. 13 years is a long time. What I do remember is that Juan Roman Riquelme played in this final. Who is one of the biggest idols of the club and current president of the club.
Lamentablemente, Boca no pudo con Corinthiams. Ya que en la ida de local empataron 1 - 1 y en Brasil se perdió. Lo que más lastima me dio de esta final es que era una oportunidad para humillar al entorno rival. Porque en ese año, River Plate estaba jugando en la segunda división del fútbol argentino. Hubiera sido muy divertido ver a Boca levantar su séptima Copa Libertadores mientras River luchaba por recuperar la categoría.

What saddened me the most about this final was that it was an opportunity to humiliate the rival environment. Because in that year, River Plate was playing in the second division of Argentine soccer. Me atrevo a decir que todo el mundo recuerda este partido aunque no lo hayan visto. Ya que se dio algo que probablemente nunca más vayamos a presenciar. 2 eternos rivales se enfrentaron en una final de libertadores. Es como si el Barcelona y el Real Madrid se enfrentaran en una final de Champions League.

Independiente del resultado, no me gustó que se haya jugado en el estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Se suponía que la final de la Copa Libertadores de AMÉRICA se juegue en AMÉRICA. Esto fue así porque el bus que contenía a los jugadores de Boca Juniors sufrió ataques por parte de la afición de River Plate mientras ingresaban al estadio.
Regardless of the result, I did not like that it was played at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The final of the Cup Libertadores de AMÉRICA was supposed to be played in AMÉRICA. This was because the bus containing the Boca Juniors players was attacked by River Plate fans as they were entering the stadium.
🟡🔵 BOCA JUNIORS 1 - 2 FLUMINENSE 🟢🔴
Tengo que confesar que como aficionado, esta fue la final que más me dolió de las 3. Por el hecho que sentía que había muchas posibilidades de ganarla. Boca llegaba a esta instancia habiendo pasado solo por penales y eso tal vez me dio una dosis de confianza. Aparte que por dentro pensé “la tercera es la vencida”, “esta no se nos puede escapar”.
I have to confess that as a fan, this was the final that hurt me the most out of the three, due to the fact that I felt there was a good chance of winning it. Boca reached this stage having only gone through on penalties and that perhaps gave me a dose of confidence. Besides, inside I thought “the third time's the charm”, “we can't let this one slip away”.
Es un poco gracioso decirlo, pero a Boca le jugó en contra el tiempo extra. Ya que era imbatible en los penales. Con un Sergio Romero qué por tanda te atajaba 1 o 2 penales. Por ende, si cuando terminó loa 90 minutos hubieran ido directamente a los penales, ganaba Boca. Estoy completamente seguro. Por desgracia eso no pasó y en el tiempo extra John Kennedy marcó el gol que le dio la victoria a Fluminense.
It's a bit funny to say it, but extra time worked against Boca. They were unbeatable in penalties. With Sergio Romero saving 1 or 2 penalties per shootout. Therefore, if at the end of the 90 minutes they had gone straight to penalties, Boca would have won. I am absolutely sure. Unfortunately that didn't happen and in extra time John Kennedy scored the goal that gave Fluminense the victory.

Buenos recuerdos pese a todo.
Fue una época difícil para Boca Juniors y lamentablemente ahora está viviendo una peor, de aquella al menos queda la sensación de que se estuvo muy cerca de la gloria y no se dio, ahora ni siquiera pueden llegar a esas instancias.
No se que va a ocurrir pero en estos momentos el club es una caldera a punto de explotar.

Lo que dijiste es una gran verdad. Antes por lo menos llegábamos a altas instancias de la Libertadores. Ahora ni siquiera clasificamos. Encima ayer perdimos con Atlético Tucuman por los 16 avos de la copa Argentina.
Realmente, el escenario es muy desolador.

Supongo que la final perdida en el Bernabeu fue más dolorosa por la exposición que tuvo, es verdad que debió jugarse en América, pero ganar una final en el estadio del Real Madrid sin dudas lo hace mucho más especial.
Para la mayoría si fue la más doloroso, pero a mi me dolió más la del 2023. Estaba muy confiado e ilusionado. Igualmente, como aficionado me dolieron las 3 jaja.
Es verdad que al haberse jugado en España le dio mayor exposición.
