Sports persons playing outdoor games have high probability of getting injured during game time but the incident happened with Eriksen makes people think about the prior medical checkup the players need even before they step into the sports they play.
There were such incidents happened in Football earlier than this and in other sports as well, but there is increased call for this pre-checkup now and hopefully the concerned people will look into that to ensure safety of the players.
I really want to believe this might have been feeling funny prior to the match and refused to stay away from the field or was refused to by the coach or the tech team.

This was a freak occurrence and players are always being tested by their own club doctors. The medical facilities players have are top notch and testing players before they play wont change anything. This is the second such incident I have witnessed in over 20 years of watching football so it is so rare. let us wait and see what the medical report states as he must have had an underlying condition for this to happen that testing never picked up before. Sometimes these conditions are only bought on by certain conditions and who knows maybe he will never be allowed to play football again.

So whenever a rarity occurs, like an accident or a mishap, safety should be increased even further? But we have all that. Human history, what does it show? That whenever some kind of security gap seems to be revealed by an event, people are agitated and call for "something like this not to happen!" But that such things must not happen, why would anyone want this? Why would you want such a thing?
A footballer who falls down dead on the pitch, would you have been interested if he had fallen down in his living room? But only if it had been reported in the media, right? Otherwise you wouldn't care, would you? And why should you care?
Now one of them has coincidentally collapsed on the pitch. Now all the other players are to be investigated even more and more often? They are.
Don't you see this as an impossible undertaking to achieve, that death and disease cannot be avoided, no matter how much you set out to increase safety? What is the result for everyone else because ONE event scares some people? That everyone should now comply with ever-increasing security restrictions and precautions?
Isn't the consequence of this "no harm, no foul" policy unrealistic? Because if there should be no misfortune on one side, there will be a lot of misfortune on the other side. Many people who value their security less than their freedom increasingly find themselves in a world where they lose their individuality = freedom of choice.
How much is security actually worth? In a world where security is put first, the price is freedom, if you ask me.
After all, it is not the business of the football clubs, not the business of the spectators, not the business of the stadium owners and shareholders, not the business of the fans, not the business of the broadcasting media, who among the footballers should be medically examined, and how often. Is it not the business of the person who runs onto the pitch and plays football?
