People are still dying but football resumed , why?
I hope I am not been bashed for this post but it's better to voice the way I feel than just keeping mute and watching from a distance without a clear conscience. The return of football in numerous country was met with much celebration and Happiness all around the world and it is easy to know why. People have been starved of football for a while now and it starting to take a toll on them, some people are not even happy life anymore and are depressed.
It is true that football ignites passion in some, the pleasure got from watching the beautiful game gives people a lot of goosebumps but now is actually not the time to be selfish. I see we the fans as being selfish because these footballers are risking their lives to entertain you guys. It's risky because they all have families too yet they go on the field, putting all thoughts and baggage of coronavirus aside and play their lives out to ensure victory for their respective teams.
COVID 19 is a very serious virus which does not even care about the purpose of what you doing, not caring that you are entertaining people to keep them happy and out of depression. The virus even killed doctors treating patients infected, what more about just mere entertainers.
