My Acti-Effort Report Card: May 31 2022
Small changes matter and so I've been trying hard this week to get in more steps and just generally move more.
Because of this small effort, I actually managed to hit over 6k today. Although a small effort was needed to push myself over the 5k mark, it did need quite a bit of will power to keep going. Consistency is key.
Without adding too much pressure on myself, I'm also trying to monitor my water consumption and increase that to make sure I drink a minimum of two litres of just water a day on top of my normal fluid intakes, mainly coffee and fruit juices.
This isn't necessarily for the health benefits though of course that is one positive effect but more to build small habits and get used to pursuing them daily. I have a big, long term project I want to start and one step at a time, and daily working on it will be the only way aIm likely to get it over the line.
Habitual consistency starts here with simple daily improvements. Let's see a full week of empty 2 litre water bottles and a minimum of 5k steps a day!
