I've been wondering for a while how to freshen things up a little and make the game a little more interesting and I think I've finally come up with a way to make it a little more competitive!

The first thing you'll notice is that the pots have risen. If you get the correct score, you get a fixed 25000 tokens, if you get the first goal scorer, you get a fixed 25000 tokens and as an added game, we will have a progressive jackpot starting at 1000 tokens and to win that, you need to also give me the time of the first goal. This will be decided by the time shown on www.bbc.com/football/results .

OK so far? But theres a catch. To make things more competitive between you guys and me, you will no longer be able to use the score of scorer that I predict! Oh yes, I get first chance using my luck skill to predict the result! If I choose Ronaldo, you guys can't!!

I've amended the rules accordingly and i will be watching more closely for people using alt. accounts for multiple entries. One person, one entry. I'm tired of people taking the piss, and if I even get a whiff of fiddling, whether provable or merely circumstantial, i'll mute and downvote you. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!

Even I have to admit, we desperately need something from this game. Just a few points and it would make me a feel a whole lot more comfortable even though I am 100% sure that we won't be getting involved in a relegation battle.

Hopefully, Robin Koch will hopefully be back after a nasty bump on the head from talentless, scum thug McTominay and we are still without long-term absentees Patrick Bamford, Liam Cooper, Leo Hjelde and Kalvin Phillips.

The thing is, we showed glimpses of some serious attacking prowess against scum, especially with Raphina, Rodrigo, Dan James and Joe Gelhardt all combining fluidly to give the scum defense problems. Oh how I wish we had Kalvin back to provide some muscle in the engine room.

Liverpool do have a couple of injury problems and will be without Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota, the still have Salah and Mane though but i don't think Mane will be effective as the rough and tumble that this encounter will surely be will no doubt see him sulking and getting eventually getting subbed.

If Leeds can just hold tight at the back and keep Salah at bay, we have a very good chance of getting a point, even with Liverpool pushing hard to catch Man. City at the top, their desperation for the three points might just be their downfall and how much would I like to see the whinging, whining tosser, Jurgen Klopp drop 3 points at home without scoring and the Leeds fans singing;

"You'll never score at home. You'll neeeeeeeeeeever score at home"

Simply write the name of the FIRST GOALSCORER, the CORRECT SCORE AND the TIME OF THE FIRST GOAL as a comment. The competition closes 5 minutes before kick-off which is 19.45 GMT

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition is fixed at 25K except the time of the first goal competition which rolls over daily starting at 1K. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! Don't forget, you can't choose the same prediction as me! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. My game, my decision is final.
