My Actifit Report Card: May 10 2025 - A Very Alive and Thriving Friday!

Hello there and happy Saturday evening, I also wish to thank you for your visit!
This is a report for yesterday's activities, and as promised some better photos from the Blue Angels Air Show "practice" that I got riding around on my Black bike!
Which led to a pretty good step-count, absolutely #aliveandthriving!

A warning before I get started - I took a lot of photos, I will try and cut it down -some!
So, after my normal morning routine - feeding the Kitties and me I went out on the Black bike to the Park. I just fixed another flat and wanted to put a few miles on the bike. I was standing by the Fishing Pier and I noticed this,

And then a flyby,

And off towards the base,

And yep, this was at the Park,

Totally clear day! So I left there and decided to get to a better vantage point. Here is "N.A.S. Drive" - Highest Security,

And the road was backed-up for awhile.

At this point, all the action died down so I went home and ate lunch.
Then... I heard the jet engine sound and went outside. When I say Airshow above my house I truly mean it! This is what I saw first,

And two more views turning over the neighborhood,

Here one is doing the "Standstill, and slow backward decent",

Here is one flying with a Prop Plane,

Well that is no ordinary Prop Plane, it's a "P-51 Mustang"! This was more amazing than the Jets! It kinda kept up with them and had a much better sound. The Jets are just "LOUD", the P-51 sounds like a big Harley!
Here they are turning again to fly over the house,

(BTW... use Google lens on the "P-51", it will bring up that plane and a interesting story!)
At this point they went separate ways.

I think the Jets were running out of fuel so they were getting closer and closer,

Landing here is one "slightly different" than the others,

And...

You can see the difference. I believe the first plane is a Stealth Jet.
And they all came in and landed,

I also wanted to mention, that to do this - they have a lot of support aircraft in the sky. I spotted a few helicopters dodging in and out around the streets, etc. And this - sorry the photo quality is so poor,

I am going to think this is some kind of flying tower and additional radar. It was very high in the sky all the time, just circling. It did this the whole time.

And that was my #aliveandthriving Friday. The step-count came from following the Planes around and when I got home, a few chores.
