My Actifit Report Card: July 3 2025 - Alive and Thriving Thursday!

Hello friends! Happy Thursday evening and thank you for your visit!

This is a report for today's activities - for a change, caught up again!

And so, on to the day!
Most of the steps were from "Cycling" with a few steps from around the house house chores,.etc..
I made two trips out on the Black bike around the neighborhood, and over to the Park.
When I got there the first time I found this on a table, very curious thing...

I have no clue what that should mean!
This is a look down the Fishing Pier today,

This is a look down Padre Island Drive, or Park Road 22 - lots of traffic,

And a view over at the J.F.K. Causeway, and it's also full of cars,

I passed by the Christian Gateway Center,

And their sign, you can see the temperature and the time I passed by,

Here I passed a guy who was determined to ride his e-bike the wrong way on a turn around,

And as you can see a minivan is headed his way!
Heading back over towards the Causeway, the traffic was stacking up!

I had actually forgotten it's a holiday weekend! The traffic starts half ways through this island and goes all the way to the first mile of Padre Island! That's a lot of #aliveandthriving people, all heading to the beach!

I left there and decided to go home. On the way I passed the "dredgers",

And the lower Breeding Pond,

I then rode parallel with the highway on some streets and came up to this place,

This is the side of "Club 7". It's a biker bar - now. I got a "DWI" leaving this bar in 2010, at that time it was the "Tiki Lounge".
This is a view of the back wall and the beer they "offer",

They also offer (?) all the normal stuff as well, Coors, Budweisers, Miller, Bush, etc...

And after that I went home - to a leaky "heat - pump"! At least that was not difficult!

And that was my #aliveandthriving Thursday!
