My Actifit Report Card: April 23 2026 - "Many steps, not many photos"

avatar

Hello friends and happy Thursday evening to you and also I want to thank you for your visit!

This is a report for yesterday's activities and for a change, I came up with a repctable step-count - over 7000!

But it was not a big photo day I'm afraid. After my morning chores, and feeding Kitties and Dozer (the Tortoise) I ran through the grocery store and took a little rest.

Then after awhile I decided to go out in the bike and see how close to the "5000" step-count I could get!

This is the afternoon Sun at from the end of the driveway,

It looked kind of "eerie" with the round Cloud so I wanted to take a photo to share!
Onward to the Park!

Over there the tide was high! This is a look South down the Shoreline,

At least the the Breeding Pond is full again! When the Breeding Pond dry up - we're in trouble!

This Seagull (as usual - one is always on Patrol....) flew over head, I got lucky and caught it directly above,

This is two Curlycup flowers that I saw,

And,

Very Healthy!

This is the Shade Structure and Fishing Pier,

I thought it was pretty cool how the Clouds were directly above it!

After awhile I left there and rode down to the other Breeding Pond. It is totally full and doesn't even resemble the "mud hole" of last month!

On the far side there are Spoonbills and unfortunately I could not get a good photo,

Although it is hard to see... One of them is a Pink one!

After that I rode home and the rest of the steps were from house chores, etc...

I want to thank you again for your visit and wish you a Very Blessed Friday! Stay Happy and Safe!

Great pictures as usual! I have to ask-are curly cup flowers related to the sunflower? The leaves remind me of them as well as the flowers.

Nice job with your 7445 @actifit steps for the day. Take care and enjoy the sun!

Hi there and thank you!
I found (thanks to your question) that I had made an error!
These are not Curlycup but Sea Oxeye Daisy's - they look very similar!
And...
Your Right!
These "Are" related to Sunflowers!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for asking, I otherwise would not have known!

Have a Very Blessed Weekend!
Stay Happy and Safe!

We have some wild sunflowers that grow around here and of course, the giant varieties that everyone plants but honestly, it was the leaves that made me question whether or not they were related to them. Even though the actual flower is similar, it wasn't dark in the center. Do you know if the center of those turn to seed when the flower matures? Just curious. Thanks for answering @lesmann! Take care! Blessings to you! 🤗
