Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Fire & Regret

Splinterlands one of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Fire & Regret. This challenge is not easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset all units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back. Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up. Ranged attack units with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks. The Amplify ability increases damage. As in this battle monsters with magic attack are very helpful so I decided to use some strong magic attack monsters with high health. In this battle used "Cursed Windeku" as tank card having 10 health with thorns ability with some extra abilities like Fire & Regret and Blood and Sunder. These two abilities adds on every monster card in this battle. In this battle I used one thorns ability card and one stun / life leech and poison ability cards. This battle was high mana 59 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was death vs death summoners.

1. All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.

2. All units gain Corrosive Ward.

3. Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.

As battle was high mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also try to fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having life leech and bloodlust ability. I used "Cursed Windeku" as tank with two malee attack, 10 health with thorns ability. On 2nd position I used "Harklaw" two malee attack, 3 shileds and 9 health with shield ability. On 3rd position I used "Usut" two magic attack, four shileds and 9 health with bloodlust ability. On 4th position I used "Phantom Soldier" 3 magic attack and 9 health with silence ability. On 2nd last position I used Venari Bonesmith 2 magic attack and 4 health with life leech and poison ability. On last position I used Revealer 2 magic attack and 4 health with stun ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Cursed Windeku

I used Cursed Windeku Rare death Unit as a tank card. This card has two malee attack and 10 health with thorns ability. I used this card on tank position in all mana fights as this card is very helpful with thorns ability. This card is the best choice for tank card in high mana battles.

Harklaw

On 2nd position I used Harklaw Legendary death Unit with shield, immunity and demoralize ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its abilities and 9 health. Hope this card perform well and stay strong till end.

Usut

On 3rd position I used Usut Legendary death Unit. This card has two magic attacks, 4 shields and 9 health with bloodlust ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card eliminate enemy tank card and also increase all stats on every successful kill.

Phantom Soldier

On 4th position, I used Phantom Soldier Epic death Unit. This card has 3 magic attack and 9 health but this card's silence ability is very strong. So because of this card reduced the one magic attack of all enemy's monster cards.

Venari Bonesmith

On 2nd last position I used Venari Bonesmith Rare death Unit. This card has one magic attack and 4 health with life leech and poison ability. I always used this card as my back line card so its health increase each time it damage enemy unit card.

Revealer

On last position, I used Revealer Epic death Unit. This card has 2 magic attack and 4 health but this card's stun ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to tank card and enemy monster cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my immunity and life leech cards. I used "Cursed Windeku" as my tank card with high health and also do some extra damage to enemy with its thorns ability. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My life leech and shield ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy monsters cards. I think in this battle my life leech ability card performed well and hoped "Venari Bonesmith" stay strong till end and also increse his health on every turn. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 8 magic and 2 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 12 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Fire & Regret" successfully completed. In this battle enemy also brought a strong death team with better card options but in this battle my card placement was good. The battle was very close and lasted for 12 rounds and thanks to life leech ability I won this battle.
