Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Armored Up

Splinterlands on of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Armored Up. This challenge is easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset all units get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game. Use Void Armor to ensure that magic attacks strike armor first. Use Shatter or Piercing to destroy your opponent's armor more effectively. As in this battle Monsters with malee attack are very helpful so I decided to use some strong malee attack monsters with high health. In this battle I used "Baakjira" as tank card having 12 health with void / slow and strengthen ability. In this battle I used one protect ability card and two sneak ability card and one force-field ability card. This battle was low mana 29 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was water vs water summoners.

1. Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles.

2. All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

3. All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.

As battle was low mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also try to fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having sneak ability. I used "Lobstradamus" as a tank card just waste few enemy attacks with one magic attack, 12 health and shield ability. On 2nd position I used "Baakjira" no attack and 12 health with void / slow and strengthen ability. On 3rd position I used "Djinn Oshannus" two magic attack and 11 health with phase and void ability. On 4th position I used "Venari Wavesmith" two magic attack and 4 health with protect ability so all friendly monsters gets extra 2 shields. On 2nd last position I used Sabre Shark 2 malee attack and 2 health with sneak ability. On last position I used Pelacor Bandit 3 malee attack and 4 health with sneak and flying ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Lobstradamus

I used Lobstradamus Epic water Unit as a tank card. This card has one magic attack and 9 health with shield ability. I used this card on tank position in all mana fights as this card is very helpful with shield ability and high health. This card is the best choice for tank card in low mana battles.

Baakjira

On 2nd position I used Baakjira Legendary water Unit with void / slow and strengthen ability so all friendly monsters increase one health and all enemy monsters reduce one speed. I always use this card in all mana fights because of these abilities and 12 health.

Djinn Oshannus

On 3rd position I used Djinn Oshannus Legendary water Unit. This card has two magic attacks and 11 health with void and phase ability. I always used this card as my attacking card as this card eliminate enemy monsters cards with its two magic attack.

Venari Wavesmith

On 4th position, I used Venari Wavesmith Rare water Unit. This card has two magic attack and 4 health but this card's protect ability is very strong and gives two extra shields to all friendly monsters cards. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy monsters.

Sabre Shark

On 2nd last position I used Sabre Shark Common water Unit. This card has 2 malee attack and 2 health with sneak ability. I always used this card as my back line card so this card eliminate enemy's back line monsters cards.

Pelacor Bandit

On last position, I used Pelacor Bandit Common water Unit. This card has 3 malee attack and 4 health but this card's sneak ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy back line monster cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my sneak cards and magic attack monster. I used "Baakjira" as my tank card with very strong abilities. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My sneak ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards. I think in this battle my protect ability card performed well and hoped "Venari Wavesmith" could gives extra two shields to all friendly monsters cards. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 4 magic and 5 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 7 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Armored Up" successfully completed. In this battle enemy team brought a strong magic attack water team. In this battle my tank card with void ability were very helpful as my enemy's team was magic attack. My cards survived thanks to void ability as my enemy miss many attacks. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
