My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2020
I played a few rounds of disc golf today both in the morning and evening. In the morning my son and I and a couple of friends played on the local nine basket course.
It was a fun round and we played best shot doubles for the second round. The baskets on this course and not the best and I had one putt that went right on a perfect line hitting almost center half down from the top and then dropping out of the basket. Oh well.
In the evening it was starting to rain lightly and my son and I played at the local favorite eighteen basket course. The baskets are brand new on this course and they catch the discs much better.
I ended up having a reasonable round with a three over par score. My son was struggling a bit.
The rest of the steps today were from walking the puppy and doing a few different things around house.
Here's a picture I took this morning as I was foraging out in the yard for blackberries to eat:
The asparagus looks like it is managing to grow pretty good with the blackberries around. I need to trim the blackberries back a lot more and I will once the berries are all picked.
Next spring I hope to get nice crop of asparagus.

I am still very curious about the taste of blackberries because I have never tasted them. how does this fruit taste?
It is really hard to explain, perhaps a bit fragrant and sweet but not too sweet. They are wonderful when they are ripe and just fall off the bush. You don't usually get good blackberries in the store and they are expensive. Maybe a bit like a concord grape.
I can imagine now. The taste might be like strawberries and wine.

It does take awhile to establish. I had one this season, I could not help myself and it tasted great.
