My Actifit Report Card: July 21 2021
I just did some practice with my disc golf practice basket at home today. I'm almost 100 percent at getting discs in the basket at eight paces but at ten paces I have a hard time. I'd like to be 100 percent at ten paces but it's going to take some more effort. Groan...
My arm is nice and rested up and hopefully I'll get a chance to test out my new GStar Firebird tomorrow. Just as I predicted my son did not want the disc he found and as it turns out the person who's number was on the disc had given it away. So... I signed my name to the disc figuring it will be just a bit less stable than my max weight Champion Firebird. It's always nice to get new discs for free and I like GStar plastic.
Tonight's dinner, a delicious soup:
Today was cool enough that a nice bowl of warm soup was just the ticket - not that I really needed to be warmed up.
In other news there was a big flood in the canyon where I was staying on vacation in Colorado recently. Apparently someone was killed.
Crazy weather and lots of heat and fires all over to the South of here. It sure seems like we are in a climate emergency imho.
I have heard up to five million deaths per year can be directly attributed to climate change.

I could be wrong but I anecdotally feel like we are having a cool summer here. Was in the mid 50s last night. So, soup is always on my menu. I love it year round!
I missed the record setting heat around here while vacationing in Colorado and it seems cooler right now. It has been back and forth a lot.

Wow! We have had weather in the 90s for a while now. Well we will not set a record, it has been uncomfortably hot. Don't want to jinx it by whining oh, but a little cool weather would not hurt.
That's pretty spooky thinking about the flood right where you were not even a week ago.
