My Actifit Report Card: October 1 2021

I drove out to the disc golf course for a practice round but when I got there my friend was there already so we played together. I scored a -1 on the eighteen basket round. It was my favorite course by the river and it is alway fun to play with a friend.

I think I will just take it easy tomorrow and just do a bit of putting practice or a easy nine hole course. I have a difficult disc golf league play on Sunday and I'd like to be ready for that. It helps if I at least do something but it is better not to do anything really difficult.

I'm pretty sure my left foot is tender because of disc golf. I was looking at my shoe and it is really worn out near my big toe. I think I must put a lot more torque on my left leg than I realize. I also injured the foot stepping on a rock and it never recovered completely. I'm going to take care not to overdo it on the foot for a while and see it that helps.

I think this is actually kind of good news if it is just an overuse kind of thing. I was a bit worried that it might be something more serious like arthritis but I think it will be better if I don't do so many steps for awhile.

The apple crop is doing great this year. I harvested these this morning:

There are a lot more of them left on the trees still and these don't have worm holes in them.

Hopefully this Sunday you can perform optimally and can achieve maximum numbers, hopefully.

Thank you. I do hope I have a good game tomorrow, sometimes I get nervous and don't do as well in tournaments. I'm getting much better about relaxing more and that is helpful.

Thank you. I'd send some apples but they might get stuck on a slow boat, lol. I think your right about resting up a bit, hopefully it will be better soon.

I really like apples, but where we sell them at high prices. Where we don't grow these plants.

This season I have had so many apples that I don't need to purchase them. There are some really good ones in the stores around here too. I really like apples and eat a lot of them.

Worn out shows can affect your feet a lot. Time for new shoes !

My shoes are not in really bad shape yet but they are worn down in certain parts. I wore the first pair a lot longer and perhaps that might have something to do with my foot. It does help to have better shoes but they can be expensive to replace and disc golf wears them out fast to begin with. Maybe I'll be able to replace them more often soon.

I understand. Sometimes though when they are partially warn, even though they don't feel bad for a while, they let your feet not be in the best position and can cause issues slowly.

I have worn many a shoe past it's reasonable limit in my time, but now that I am older, I try not too.
