My Actifit Report Card: November 8 2021
I played a short nine hole disc golf round today. Doggie is getting used to being out on the course.
It was kind of a rough round and I scored five over setting a record new bad score. Oh well, lol. Windy... cold... my toes and legs were still stiff after racing my brother up the freaking mountain the other day. What other excuses can I think of? Old? Lol. 😁😊🐕

New (to me) vintage fountain pen came my way today. Writing on very nice paper feels great and is different than my usual finger pecking on the smartphone.

Hey @lightsplasheer! I take it you arrived back home safely! Nice leaves! I absolutely love fountain pens! I have a bit of a collection myself, but what drives me crazy about them is that the nibs always tend to stop writing due to dried ink, no matter what I do! I find that I have to literally use them every day or this happens. If you have a better solution, please share!

I am still in Colorado but should be leaving soon. I'm new to fountain pens although I used them a lot when I was younger. At that time my issue was with the ink leaking.
The ones I have now are really nice and I have not experienced any issues. The Twsbi cap seals well and I think that helps prevent the ink from drying out.
I do think they take a bit more maintanence. I generally make a few notes most every day so maybe I don't see that issue. Maybe a different ink might help?

I do think the pens need to be used daily, but I don't always get that done. Consequently the issues. I guess I will need to be more diligent in the future with them, if I'm going to keep them workable.
