My Actifit Report Card: March 4 2022
I played a nine hole disc golf round this morning. I scored a +3 which was not as good as yesterday. My finger was hurting a bit where I removed a hangnail. Sometimes little things like that can affect your grip.
Additionally I have been trying out a few small changes in my throw to see if I can get more distance. So far it is just making my drives off the tee less acurate. It is a good time to try new things now that I am not playing in a league.
The lake by my mom's house:
There was some ice on the lake but it was not thick enough to walk on. This lake used to have thick ice on it in the winter years ago.
My mom and I walked around the lake a couple of times.
It sounds like some more snow is coming this weekend and another storm is on the way by Wednesday. It might be good to start heading back home on Tuesday.
I am not sure if I should wait too much longer to start heading back. It sounds like gas prices are going to go a lot higher and I would like to be back before the spring league starts.

Today you can only +3 that means it's not as good as the previous day, I'm sure the next day will be even better. looks like there is some ice in the lake. won't it go away if the sun comes out?
It takes a few days to melt all the ice when the temperature is as cold as it has been. The sunlight will melt it though if it warms up and does not get cold enough at night to refreeze it.
Is it because the snow is so thick that it is very difficult to melt?
A wonderful environment. The view of the lake being frozen is very beautiful. As well as the color of the sky looks much better. Usually the color of the sky is rarely seen here.
There are a lot of blue sky days in Colorado and this does make it fun to get outside. Earlier in the day the sky was clouded over, we picked a nice time for our walk.
Do all the trees in the winter fall? or the tree is dead
All these type of trees lose their leaves in the winter so it is sometimes hard to tell if they are dead or not. I think most of the ones in the picture are alive.
Sad to hear that your finger was hurting a bit. Beautiful view of clear blue sky makes photo more beautiful with frozen lake. 11000+ lot of steps. Stay blessed.
Thank you. My finger is already healed up and it really was a minor problem. There are a lot of blue sky days in Colorado.

How is your mom doing? You have been there a while and yes, prices are going up, although we seem to be staying much the same, but, all the states around us are going up.

My mom is doing wonderful for her age. She worries though because most of her friends have passed away already. I'm still unsure about the weather for the trip home, thank you for your well wishes.

How is your sore finger now, better? I think it would be good to apply some of the recommended cream for that. Your mother's house is located in a wonderful place. Near a lake is a must have beautiful surrounding.
My finger is better already. It was really nothing to serious. My mother's house is in a very nice area of the city.

It should be snowing again soon. I'm expecting to do some snow shovelling again soon.

Wow, really beautiful photography with the scenery that surrounds it around the lake. I really like the natural scenery which is very soothing to the soul when looking at it and you polish the images very skillfully.

This park is very natural looking and it is nice to see that in the middle of the city. I think it has grown more attractive as the years have passed.

My finger is better already. I should be good to go now but I think there will be too much snow again for disc golf in the next few days.
