My Actifit Report Card: March 5 2022

avatar

I did a couple short walks today. The weather is getting colder and we are expecting some snow tomorrow.

On my evening walk I saw a little owl in the trees by the ditch:

The owl is right in the center of the picture. I did not notice it at first until it moved its head. It was perfectly quiet. At first I was a bit worried about Doggie being carried of by the owl but the bird 🐦 was too small to do that.

Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.

The snow season will be over in May or June if it is like it used to be. There should be more snow tomorrow.

The little owl is definitely not your dogie being held by him. change the owl that will be bitten by the dogie

I think an owl that size is more likely to go after mice.

Yes, I think so because owls are almost the same as eagles who like to eat mice

I saw the owl silhouette right off.

Yesterday there was a HUGE bird sitting on the pasture fence across the street. There was too much distance to be sure what it was as it was not facing me and only turned it's head to the side once. I thought it might be a hawk, but if it was, it was a GIANT one. I also thought it could be a buzzard, but when it turned it's head, it's neck didn't seem long enough for the ones I see around here. I took a couple of photos hoping I could expand them when I got them downloaded and see it better, but I still could not tell.

Snow!!! Oh, yes! You are in snow country. That stuff won't quit anytime soon. The owl showed up on my radar right away! Probably because he was right in the middle of the screen.

I guess you won't be leaving tomorrow. What is one of two more days. :) I am sure that you had fun with your mom. I am glad you got out there. :)

I know you want to get back to your season, but, you have two good sets of friends now! :)

Even though the weather is very cold today, but still trying to reach your target step today. Good!

Great landscape photography in cool winter colors.

Keep it dry and warm and enjoy your day always there!
