My Actifit Report Card: March 13 2022
I played with my son and a friend out at my favorite eighteen basket disc golf course. Our friend joined us part way through the round. I ended up with a win with a +1 score.
The wind was a bit of a factor on a few of the holes. I was also a bit rusty after not playing for some time and playing in Colorado. Discs fly a lot different at sea level and it does take a few days to get used to it.
It was really wonderful seeing my friend again after being away for some time. He honked his horn when he saw us on the course as he was driving in.
I signed up for a one day tournament on Thursday. I'm trying to earn enough points to get an invitation to the amateur world masters tournament next year. I have 9 points out of a total of 100 that I need, so I have my work cut out for me. If it happens it happens if it doesn't - maybe it might happen later, lol.

Hopefully the apple trees will flower again this year but there is no sign of that yet. They produced apples last year so I'm not sure if they flower again this year.

The flowers that grow in these meadows are very beautiful with sunlight. I hope you can get the points you need for your next existing master tournament.
Sunlight is a bit rare around here this time of year. There has been a lot of rain and cloudy skies. The flowers are just starting to come out now. I hope to get enough points too just to say that I did it. I'm not sure if I will go to the tournament if I'm invited though.

I doubt JoMez will cover older amateur players. If I were them I'd be covering the FPO action, lol. I might not go to the championships even if I get an invite - it would be tough to travel there for me. It's mostly about trying to get that many points but I'm not too focused on it. There's been a lot of issues for me lately.

It had been some time since we were able to play together and it was especially fun to be out there with my son. He is so busy that he had not been playing much and had some difficulty out on the course.
