My Actifit Report Card: June 27 2022
My friend wanted to play out at my favorite eighteen-hole disc golf course down by the river. I met him there this morning but we were mugged badly by all kinds of mosquitoes. I've never seen them that bad around here. We left and played a short nine-hole course instead.
I won that round with a +1 score. It was a lot better than the +5 score I had last night. It does get a lot easier if you have recently played the course.
A different friend called and wanted to play an eighteen-hole course near my house. I don't particularly care for the course but I wanted to try out the new layout they had been working on so I played a round.
I scored a +4 on the course and that was second place on the card of four players.
The new course layout was pretty nice and better than the way they had it before. There are still some issues on part of the course with people parking in the fairways. I think the city should just close off access to the area if they want to make the disc golf course more playable and cut down on people camping in their cars. There is a much better parking lot nearby where most people park.
The mosquitoes were not as bad on the course even though it was close to the river too. I still keep wondering if spraying the blackberries had something to do with the overabundance of mosquitoes. The problem got really bad right after the spraying.

I got one of my discs stuck up in a tree and had to run home to get my disc recovery tool:

Those recovery tools are damn handy
That one was stuck up there pretty high, I'm glad I had the tool. I usually carry it in the car but today I didn't think I needed it. Lucky for me the park is close to my house.
I could have used it today.. I got a disc unstuck with a rock today

lol. seems like everything is fine here, did the bunny pick someone? or indeed a wild rabbit that is free to go anywhere without an owner
This is a wild rabbit. They live all over the place around here. There are a lot of hedges and areas for them to hide in and I think there are less predators in the city. Deer like the area too and are often around.
