My Actifit Report Card: July 11 2022
The weather has been a bit hot around here so I didn't do much. I road my e-bike to the dentist's office and had a cleaning and I walked the dog.
I suppose if it stays so hot I might have to venture out in the morning when it is cooler if I get a chance.
I ordered some more disc golf shoes but they won't get to me until October. It is from a new company and they have the first shipment of shoes stuck in the harbor. Hopefully, I will get them by then because my current shoes are not lasting very well. They are no longer waterproof because there are big holes in the fabric. I don't think I will order that brand (Altra) anymore, I just bought the shoes April 12 and there were holes started by May. So far they seem to be ignoring my warranty request.

The moon has been looking pretty interesting right now. The sky is clear so it's a good time to look at it.

the moon looks very beautiful especially if you take a good technique it looks very cool..
This is the first time I've seen a shot of the moon so close, I tried several times to take a photo of the moon but didn't get the maximum result
My moon seemed huge last night! (or maybe it was the night before, I must be getting old if I cannot remember one day from the other!)
They won't honor your request and the shoes are one month old? If you bought them online, I would give them a bad review if they don't respond. I don't buy things from places that have consistent bad reviews. I just canceled some pieces of clothing I ordered and they keep back-ordering. I understand the problems, but, it isn't helping me, I actually found one local.
It really is hot! I just did gardening and planted some marigold seeds today. :) It has been a good day! Give Doggie a pet for me. Does he notice your son is gone? How was day one?
They ignored the first e-mail with pictures until I wrote them back about it. On the second e-mail request when I wondered if they got the first e-mail, they asked me where the pictures are. I sent them over again resized small just in case there was an issue but I have not heard back at all about it. I've heard other reviews on the net stating that they don't want to deal with the issue.

Doggie was acting kind of funny during this time. He is still waiting a bit by the door. It is interesting how they pick up on what's happening.

Lol at disc golf shoes.. I prefer playing barefoot.. I take my flip flops off to tee off
Boy that is hardcore. I had some barefoot glove type shoes that I liked for awhile, until I stepped on a rock too hard and injured my foot. I'm not sure about how it would feel to try to play disc golf without shoes on. Lots of the areas have some thorns around here and the tee pads are not the greatest, especially in the woods.
Well I can't play barefoot on wooded courses with thorns.. but with concrete or carpet tee pads it's shoes off

It really stinks when companies give a warranty and then ignore you if you need to use it.
October is a long time to wait for shoes ! You would have thought something would have worked out by now about getting ships in and out and product to the market. I don't know how, but surely someone does and whoever that is, they are being slack !

I'm pretty impressed with the new cameras ability to take moon shots. It does black out the background when it focuses on the moon though. I'm thinking about combining images and seeing how it turns out to show more of the background.
You would think that with supply issues they would find a way to let cargo ships get unloaded faster. In my case I'm not too worried about how long it takes, so long as the use by date doesn't expire, lol. I'm not getting any younger. :D
I don't think that some companies seem interest in customer service much these days. I suppose it varies of course. I might try to write them again to at least get some acknowledgment about the issue.
So how are you guys, you waited a very long time with the arrival of those shoes
