My Actifit Report Card: August 7 2022
It was a hot day today and my friend, son, and I played disc golf out at Tall Firs. We played both the blue and red tee courses.
This was the first time I played the blue tee pads. It is a much more challenging tee location that is a bit farther away from the baskets. My son did great on the blue tees and won the round with a -2. I scored a +11 and my friend did not complete the round but had a +16 when he stopped. He missed scoring on five of the holes because it was a bit too hot and he needed to take a break.
I won the first round with a -2 score when we played on the red tee pads. It was a bit cooler first thing in the morning. My son had a -1 and my friend had a +4.
It was interesting that my son did much better on the more difficult blue tee pads. I think he had warmed up by the time we played the second round and was putting much better. He also has a very good long-distance throw and he learned the course better after the first round.
I'm glad I got a chance to play the course from the blue tee locations before the tournament. I was a bit concerned with not having any experience throwing off of them. I think I can do better the next time I play off the blue tees.
Someone found my lost Beast disc and turned it in at Kayak. My friend picked it up for me. It will be nice to get it back. It is always wonderful to get a disc that you like back.

I am amazed to see the skills your son has, he can excel when playing the blue bie pad even though you say it is more difficult, and there is no doubt that you can also win in the first round of the red tee pad. I'm sure your son will grow up to the maximum by practicing often with you and your friends
