My Actifit Report Card: August 19 2022
I just did some yard work today. I was going to practice my putting a bit but I injured my elbow pulling and sawing on some dead bushes. It is nothing too major but I took some medication and it feels a lot better. I think it should not bother me any tomorrow.
There are certain parts of my body that I have a few overuse issues from all of the disc golf. If you add more things without enough downtime it can get to be difficult.
I suppose it can be the same for any sport that you put a lot of your time and effort into. When I was playing racketball a lot I had a few overuse issues as well. I don't think that racketball would be something I could play again unless I took things easy and was very careful not to overdo it.
I need to get up in the morning before the rising sun tomorrow to get down to the tournament in time to get some warm-up throws. I think it is going to be a lot of fun no matter how I play. At least as an amateur player, I get a player's pack with some goodies.
At one point I thought briefly about turning professional but I think I am best off where I am - at least for now. Maybe next year I can have a bit better conditioning and improve my rating.

Great shot. I notice that if I hurt something, it seems to take longer to hear or feel better than it used to when I was in my 20s. Hope you are back to 100% soon!
You have photographed the dragonfly very beautifully. I think it's not unusual for you to be a professional player the way you play all the time.
The dragonfly you photographed at my place was very wild and it was really difficult to photograph it.
Every sport that we play there is still a risk for injury even though it is not severe, but we must be able to minimize the occurrence of injuries. May you always be the best where you practice my friend @lightsplasher
the dragonfly looks very interesting and you take a photo of the dragonfly in great detail so it looks really cool....
I'm sure you will be the best where you are, beautiful dragonfly shot, did you edit the background to black and white?

Sorry to hear about the elbow that was injured. I hope the injury is not much 😔. I strongly believe it seems your body need some break from disc golf though or what do you think?
Such a amazing picture, you capture skills are amazing, bro.
