My Actifit Report Card: August 24 2022
I played a couple of difficult eighteen-hole disc golf courses today with my friend. I won both rounds but lost a disc in the process. Hopefully someone will find the disc and get it back to me but I'm not too worried because frankly, I don't throw a Sword disc all that well. (I've lost three of them so far. One disc I got back after several months of soaking in the river.)
The scores today were: a +2 to +11 and +21 to +27. I think I could have scored better in both rounds.
The next few days I'm going to take it easy and do a bit of yard work. I got my new Greenworks Pro hedge trimmer today under warrenty. I really like this hedge trimmer and hope that it lasts better than the one it replaced. I have other Greenworks products and they have all worked exceptionally well. Having a company back their product with a warrenty so quickly is wonderful.
I'd also like to play a few easy disc golf rounds just to stay in throwing form but I mostly want to focus on practicing my putting and learning my new mid-range disc better.
There were a few throws today where my new mid-range came in handy. I'm not at the point where I know it well enough yet but hopefully I can learn it enough to trust it in the tournament this weekend.
I've been needing a disc like the Paradox for some time now as a utiltily disc for those times where you find yourself in a difficult spot behind a tree or something. I am happy so far that I got it.
A mushroom that I saw when out on the disc golf course today:
I'm not sure what kind of mushroom this is, but I think it might be an oyster mushroom. If it is, it is edible, but I would not try it unless I was sure about the identification. Lots of whiteish mushrooms look a bit like each other.

Congratulations on your win and I hope you find your disc or someone finds it and returns it to you. Wonderful mushrooms. It looks so amazing.
you avenged yesterday's loss with two winning rounds today even though you lost one of your disks I hope to find it soon,
I don't think it's an oyster mushroom, it's almost the same but has a hard skin when we press it, it's different from a soft oyster mushroom
This mushroom looks very beautiful with bright colors and this mushroom hat is very unique and cool....

I have a Star TeeRex I use for my utility disc.. technically it's a fairway driver... but, you know, it works.
I will always be attentive to his sister disc game, wishing him much success, because he deserves it, motivated by the fact that he puts all his enthusiasm and passion into it to play it well. Successes

Your clicking of picture is amazing, hope you enjoy game, stay healthy and happy, brother.
It looks like an oyster but I wouldn't eat it either without 100% ID. I eat very few because of that. Plus, I am used to New England, or more familiar I should say. My grandmother was a crackerjack at the ID of mushrooms and berries.
Congratulations on the win and that is great that you take the time to learn and hone your skills.
I have been forgetting to ask, how is your son doing? And Doggie! I haven't seen much of him!
I love the feeling when I buy something and it actually lives up to the expectation!
