My Actifit Report Card: October 9 2022
I had a great round at the disc golf tournament today. I scored a personal best in a tournament round for the course and would have done even better if I could putt, lol.
I had a couple of throws that got away from me a bit and one of them crossed over out-of-bounds. The guilty disc has been removed from my bag. It was my favorite distance driver for a long time but it has been getting inconsistently understable. A wide-rimmed driver that turns too hard right and doesn't fade back can get you in trouble.
I replaced it with another eleven-speed driver. I think they have become my recent favorites.
I've been throwing just a bit farther recently and my son and friend both noticed that. A few extra feet make it a lot easier to do better in the tournament. I still get nervous when putting but things are doing much better.
My friend had kind of a rough round. He lost his Vanish disc on the second throw after going out-of-bounds from his tee throw. Sometimes when you start throwing badly it can be hard to recover. Hopefully, he will do better next week.
My son tied with my score. He was pretty happy with his score considering that he had not played in several weeks. Still, he usually does better and he missed some easy close putts and was disappointed with that.

Congratulations brother for the good performance in the tournament. It is normal that sometimes we get nervous and as in any sport when we start badly, it is difficult to get back on track. But with confidence your friend will surely recover. A big hug brother and may the successes continue.
