My Actifit Report Card: October 29 2022
My friend and I played a couple of rounds of eighteen-hole disc golf this morning. The scores were +3 to +6 and -1 to +7.
The weather was nice but it felt a bit like something was changing toward the end of the second round.
I tested out both of the discs that I found yesterday. The Dx Wraith was too flippy and I decided it was not going to make the bag. I like a little more stability from a higher-speed driver. If I find one in better plastic or that is not as beat in, I might use it.
The Prodigy D3 in 500 plastic is great. I was getting a very good grip on this disc. I expected it to fly kind of like the Shryke disc from the reviews and flight numbers. So far I think the D3 is more controllable than the Shryke for me and gives me better distance than a lot of other discs. It just turns a little bit under power and holds a hyzer angle nicely. I'm wondering if this is typical of this disc or if I've got one that is beat in just the perfect amount. I might have to get a new one to compare the flight with.
I parked the pink Prodigy disc for a birdie two rounds in a row on a 270-foot hole:
There is a tree by the tee pad on this hole that forces a longer outside line or a low ceiling center line. I took the longer outside line on both throws and was pleasantly surprised at easily getting the distance.
Of course, this opinion on the D3 was just from throwing it a few times and it was not very windy today. I could be changing my tune once the "honeymoon" phase is over, lol.
My new Idio Syncrisy disc golf shoes just came. I have not had the chance to play disc golf in them but they feel very nice to wear. It seems like these shoes will work well for disc golf and I will have to try them out soon.

a very fun golf game for you today, you can try some of the discs you found yesterday, and as you said it looks like you should also try other discs to know the stability when making a shot, the tree between the loud looks so big and must be old very old

I've tried the Prodigy plastic.. it doesn't work for me. Now that Wraith.. I could play every shot with that.
The Wraith is a good disc, I often bag a Pro plastic version of it. Usually I throw the Wave more than the Wraith though. I had a nice Wraith in Star plastic but gave it to my son who really wanted it. That one was a nice stability for me but seems to be a bit flippy for him. The DX Wraith doesn't seem to fly too well around here at this altitude, at least the ones that have come my way second hand.
Use what is comfortable for you, so you will always be the best.
