My Actifit Report Card: November 6 2022
I lost my main distance driver today down by the river. It was a cold and windy day and I lost my Wave disc on the first throw.
I wasn't worried that much about the throw. It was windy but I thought the disc was stable enough to finish back to the right on a downhill throw. It turned too far left in the wind and landed in some deep leaves. I thought I would be able to find it easily enough but when I started looking for it the leaves were a lot deeper than I thought.
In hindsight, I should have warmed up on an easier hole and typically I do but the city had closed the road from flooding. I had to drive all the way around to get to a parking lot farther away from hole one so I started on the fifteenth hole. It wasn't all that bad a throw but the wind and a slight release angle issue caused a problem.
I did manage to find a pre-flight number Star Wraith while I was looking for my lost Wave disc and the owner let me keep it when I called them. They were far away from the course and didn't want to bother coming up to get it.
I threw the Star Wraith a couple of times and it seems like a nice stability so I'm going to bag it for a while. These are very nice discs too but they fade and skip a lot and I need to adjust where I throw to account for that.
I think I will order another replacement for my Wave disc if I can find one. They all tend to all fly a bit differently though depending on the run. I have a lot of discs but many of them don't fly as well for me as a new Wave disc would.

This time of year and in the spring it does change frequently. Things are greening up now from all the rain.
such a fun game for you to play golf along the river, even if you lose your Wave disc I'm sure you'll find it again,
in your photo it is very clear that the snow on the hill is visible, has it started snowing there? such a beautiful view
I might take one more look for the Wave disc but I'm not very hopeful about getting it back. There has been snow up on the foothills but nothing has come down where I live.

Nothing worse than losing a disc
It is tough to lose one that you don't have many backups for. I almost got another Wave disc but I'm thinking about taking one more look for it. I don't lose as many as I used to so I guess that's an improvement, lol.
happy playing golf must be very fun today, the scenery is very beautiful especially when there is snow falling and looks very cool.
It is always nice to get outside around here but it was a bit windy for the disc golf. This morning the weather is much better but I've got a few things to do.

The colors are beautiful, and the snow adds such a nice touch! I couldnt have painted it any prettier.
Eventually, the leaves will move. Someone will find it and hopefully the errant disc will come home again.
