My Actifit Report Card: November 28 2022
My friends and I played a new to me disc golf course today. They had both played it before and it was nice to have someone show me around.
I started out playing well but as the holes got longer I started trying to throw my distance driver on some tight lines. It ended up not going so well when I was throwing it with a lot of power and trying to hit the narrow fairway. I should have stuck to the fairway drivers on most of the holes.
The Dx Wraith was turning over way too easily and I was wishing I had kept my usual eleven-speed discs in the bag. There was no reason to be worried about losing a disc on this 27-hole course.
I ended up with a win in the round with a +23 score. My friends were +28 and +36.
I would like to play the course again but it is a long way to go to play disc golf. It is a nice park with a lot of trees and bushes. There are not that many thorny bramble bushes to worry about. It used to be an old housing area and there are some indications of what people had planted in their yards. The housing area was abandoned, when jets started flying from the airport because it was too noisy.
There were some fun par-four holes near the end of the course and it was easy to find my disc.

I'm glad you finally managed to play golf on that course with your friends, even though there are some problems when you do sheets on long holes but you will get used to playing there a few times, I see the field is a little dirty lots of fallen leaves there, is it being autumn there?
The weather is closer to winter time temperatures now and it is kind of snowy looking today. The next few days are expected to be colder. There are still some trees with leaves on them but a lot of them have fallen off now.
