My Actifit Report Card: December 12 2022
My friends and I played twenty-one holes of disc golf out at a wooded course this morning. The scores were +8, +14, and +31. I had a little trouble with the new out-of-bounds line but played alright. I managed to birdie the island hole when we were warming up but took a bogey on it when we were playing for a score.
My friend almost lost his disc on this hole:
It went about three feet into the river but luckily his disc was not washed downstream. He managed to get a bogey while my other friend and I both got birdies.
Later this afternoon my son and I played out at my home course. I ended up at even and my son was +2. He usually wins but he was not playing with his discs and borrowed a bunch of my extra discs, plus he did not have his usual disc golf shoes.
I'm heading up to play another fun course with a friend tomorrow and everyone (including my son) is planning a difficult round on Wednesday. I should be taking things a bit easier but the weather is nice and it is so much fun to be out playing.

Looks like a beautiful course, beautiful location close to the river! I can see how if you overshoot and it goes in the river your disc is gone............🙄

It is a tricky course sometimes when the wind is blowing. It can be dangerous too if it is blowing really hard because there are a lot of tree limbs coming down. I try not be out on the course if it gets really bad. It sure is beautiful and fun to be out on the course.
Sounds like you’re having a wonderful time, my friend! I can understand about the branches coming down with the wind blowing, sometimes when we hike in the forest, it can be dangerous you never know what’s coming down or where!

I have been having a wonderful time. It is nice to have something that you enjoy to spend your time on and stay fit.
I just remember a student being killed by falling branches in the heavy wet snow in Colorado. It reminds me to take care and pay attention because sometimes things are unpredictable. Every time there is a big storm there are many very large branches all over the course. One time a big branch bent a disc golf basket a lot.

Amazing to see 15k steps it means how healthy you are
I don't often hit 15k steps I usually don't play a couple of disc golf rounds in a day. I does feel like I'm getting a bit more stamina, I'm not as tired as I used to be from the amount of activity.

Thanks, I do enjoy the smartphone a lot. The level of zoom is very nice. I wish it did a bit better job on macro photography but perhaps it would with an additional lens.

it was a very nice day of course you played golf with your friends on the 20 hole course, and luckily your friend didn't lose his disc because it flew towards the river, and also you played golf again at your house Of course with you it is something more fun when we can have the same hobbies as your child. such a beautiful shot of the golf course, the clouds look a little dark as if it's going to rain
The contrast adjustment might have darkened the clouds a bit. There was not any rain that evening.
