My Actifit Report Card: December 14 2022

The four of us played an eighteen-hole disc golf course this morning. My son won with a +2, my friend came in second with a +5, I had a +8, and my other friend had a +22.

I was happy that my friend scored so well. I think he might have had a personal best on the course. He has been putting and throwing much better.

I had a bit of a rough round. I've been playing hard for the last three days and my shoulder is still a bit tired from when I almost face-planted in the mud during the tournament.

We were going to save things for Christmas but... Santa came a bit early.

I just had to play with my new disc golf cart today:

This Zuka All Terrian cart is very nice. I can carry just about all the discs I could want and not wreck my back. I have twenty-eight discs on the cart as pictured. I could carry a few more but for the times when I have to pick up the cart, I think it would be good to try not to go with too many. I used to carry twenty-three in my bag so this is a big upgrade.

This cart works well for pulling or pushing. It seems like it feels better to have in front of me on downhill paths.

I noticed a couple of issues when I first took the cart out. The bottom discs seem to move around a lot and make some noise hitting the plastic sides. A couple of them came out of place when I went over some tree roots but nothing fell out. I figured I might need to do a little modification.

Lightsplasher's custom bag altercation: Take a small bungee cord and warp it around the bars on the bottle shelf. If you warp it over the bars you can slide it back and forth to snug up the discs to keep them from moving around and prevent them from falling out as easily.

The discs on the top shelf are held in place fairly well by the fabric unless there are so few that they could turn around on the shelf.
