My Actifit Report Card: December 18 2022
We had a cold round of disc golf at the doubles tournament today. My friend and I did not win any scrip but we came close. We played a pretty good game but the conditions were kind of tough for a couple of older players, lol. (It helps to have some kind of excuse.)
Around hole seven on the disc golf course it started to snow:
We were both pulling carts on the course and the snow was getting caught up in the tires. I joked that we needed some snow tires or chains on the carts. The footing wasn't bad but I was a bit worried after having fallen in the previous tournament. My arm was still a bit tender from the fall even after resting for a few days. It felt like I was not able to get as much power as usual. I think we both were thinking of carrying a bag next time it looks like we might have some bad snowy weather.
Winter rounds can be more difficult to play if you're not used to them. The discs fly with more stability when they shrink and I think it is harder to judge the wind speed and direction with winter gear on and get as much power in your throw.
It was a lot of fun to be out there though and the snow looked beautiful.

You are dynamic brother always you are choosing different fields for golf courses
There are a few nice disc golf courses around here. Some of my friends don't mind driving a long way to play but I'd rather stay closer and spend more time on the course and less in the car.
I hate playing in the cold
It is tough to dress right and choose the correct discs. I'd rather stay inside in colder weather but it did not bother me as much when I was younger.

I'm sure you're having such a big problem with snow, that you didn't get the best points with your friends this time, I can see the snow starting to get thick on the golf course today, will it melt tomorrow?
As of this morning there is a bit more snow than yesterday and it is supposed to snow some more tomorrow. I think it will be a good time for me to stay around the house for a bit. This is just as well because I think it will be good for my shoulder.
