My Actifit Report Card: January 13 2023
Day two of testing out my new Thought Space Mantra disc. I like it more and more. It is a bit flippy, but even with the wind today, it was controllable.
I made the mistake of taking a flippy midrange disc to play with as well. I thought I might as well force myself to learn how to deal with throwing these types of discs in the wind. Unfortunately, this made things rather difficult, and my score suffered a little. I wasn't playing with anyone else, so it was a good time to try things out. (Now we know why we don't throw the Paradox disc in the wind, lol.)
The Mantra is a very nice disc, but I'm not sure how it would be if it was any lighter, in a less stable plastic, or hits a few trees. I'm also not sure if I want to throw it in the tournament on Sunday, but I might if I can learn it a bit better tomorrow.

It is a nice disc for sure. I'm not fully trusting it to do what I want yet though.

I'm on my third Samsung smartphone, I am a big fan too. I do like the way she is posing on the disc but it seems like her index finger and arm look a bit odd. Maybe when you throw discs hard too much your index finger starts to bend backwards like that, lol.
Wow! That's good to know. This is actually my second. The first was S6, now I am currently using Note 10+.
Yeah, that's because it is a cartoonized work. The body shape can be positioned or placed in any form.

This is gonna sound stupid but... I can never get a purple disc to fly right
Actually, I have a purple and a pink Mamba in the same weight that fly differently. I think the pink one is less stable so maybe that makes me throw it differently, lol. This Mantra disc is a bit more pink than purple so maybe that will make a difference. :)
I've given up bagging any of my zebra colored discs they are terribly hard to find especially in the woods. I think it causes me to throw them special places just so I can tell everyone "it looks like martian spit mixed with forest duff" when they ask what color it is, lol.
