My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2023
I did some cleaning and organizing again today. Things are looking better but there is still a lot to do around here. Tomorrow... tomorrow... maybe I will get some more done. (More likely I will go disc golfing.)
I had an interesting conversation at a local gathering with someone I met. She asked, "So what do you do for work?"
"I am retired."
She asked again, "So what do you do?"
"I play disc golf, eat food, and consume the world's resources," I said grinning to myself.
Apparently, she didn't think that was funny and the conversation ended abruptly and she wandered off.
LOL. Some people have an odd sense of humor. (Self-referential.)

For some reason, orchids seem to be showing up in my life. This one looks very healthy and I hope it will do as well under my care.

I haven't seen this kind of orchid before. Well, it is better to have time for relaxing, keep up the good work dear. For me I actually consume especially food for continue the hard day too.
This orchid is different from the others that I have. I like to have them around the house. It is hard to live without using something, especially food.

I'm personally hoping for the fountain of youth age reversal process that is coming soon after the technological singularity... but actually I'm very happy and grateful for all that has happened so far.
Actually, age doesn't matter, I'm halfway through my life but I still want to go back or reverse time by a decade or two decades to make some changes to my previous life decisions.
Cleaning and organizing always seem to feel like a never ending task, no matter how much of it you do. :)
There have been robins all over my back yard for weeks. We've had rain off and on, so I'm supposing the worms are staying close to the surface.
You're answer didn't sound offensive to me....LOL.... you never know how other people will take things, no matter how honest or humorous an answer is. That was kind of funny that she just walked away.
Oh, I don't think that she was offended... I'm not the best at picking up on social cues though. Maybe next time I'll introduce myself as, "The Computer Software Engineer Emeritus" or something like that, lol.

It seems that there are so many wild birds around you, do you hear birds chirping every morning? your orchid flowers are so beautiful and so lush
The birds are often chirping around the house especially when it is gently raining. I think they like the feeder in the backyard. I feel fortunate to have the orchids although they are a bit hard for me to take care of.
