My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2023

avatar

I joined my friends today at the disc golf tournament, but I was not playing. It was fun to walk around and watch the others play, but I was missing being able to play.

I helped out spotting where the discs went and carried bags to be helpful. It ended up being a lot of exercise even though I was not throwing discs. It was nice to see all the players and catch up with some of them that I don't see very often.

I'm working a lot on my arm, trying to get a full range of motion in it. I've found that if I move slowly enough, I can get it to move farther without it being too painful.

A wildflower that was growing in the woods on the disc golf course today:

My friend knew what it was called, but I forgot the flower's name. There were several that were flowering in the area.

One of the holes on the blue course:

the flowers that you photograph are very focused and also very good. I also really like the places you visit

There are some fun places to visit around here. It has been raining today so I've been staying inside for now.

It is nice to see you very helpful to your friend and the flower you capture is very beautiful.bi think it is coriander and some times it bursts and shows flower trait probability but not sure @lightsplasher

It sounds like the flower is Trillium. I thought it was unusual when I saw it in the woods but a lot of people seem to know what it is.

Hey! That flower is a Trillium; I am surprised to see it, but obviously you might be just a bit warmer than we are. They are not blooming here just yet. Our forest is loaded with them and next to the skunkweed, it's a sure sign of spring!

Sorry you didn't get to participate, but it's better to rest your arm than do further damage.

Excellent job with your 13247 @actifit steps today. Take care and enjoy your Sunday!

Yes the skunk weed is out here too @lightsplasher I will have to look for the Trillium. It is so nice to have spring in full bloom. Take care of that arm:)

I haven't seen any skunk weed coming up yet. I should get out to some of the areas I know they grow at and check things out.

They should be there. You are farther south.

Yes! Thank you for reminding me - Trillium is what my friend said. It does feel like spring around here, and many trees are flowering now. My arm is gradually feeling better but I still think that I need to take it a bit easy on it for now. It will be nice once it heals up my friends have been missing me being out on the course.

Our spring is coming, but it's a bit cool here and we are having a lot of rain.

Take it easy; no need to rush it and have to start over again. That would be doubly frustrating!

Enjoy your week!

Thank you, I hope to be out on the disc golf course again soon. I'm willing to wait until my arm gets a lot better this time though so that I don't keep having to deal with issues.

Glad to hear that you are back to join your friends in the golf tournament this time, even though you just watched, of course you got a lot of things, especially when you helped find some discs, of course this helped your arm to get a little better.

Wild flowers look so beautiful, especially on the leaves like there are water spots

It was raining just a bit that day so the water spots give a feel for how it was. I like the look of the rain on the leaves in the woods so I tend to photograph it if I see it.

If you have a swimming pool nearby, then swimming is exactly what will help a lot for your hand.

Get well and if possible, try to relax in the pool.
Have a good weekend.

That's a good idea. I like to swim in the rivers and lakes around here but it is too cold right now to do that. An indoor pool or hot tub might be nice to relax in.

Hello! Hello! The little flower is a Trillium! So fresh and lovely with a fresh crop of drops on it!

It is fun looking on the other side of the gold club, isn't it? More fun in some ways, until you remember how much we like to do something. Soon enough, your arm will be better, in the meantime, it sounds like good progress is being made.

Spring has sprung, for sure! Enjoy the great outdoors!!

I was just thinking about your son. How is he and is school going well for him? :)

Happy Easter!

Thank you for reminding me; it does help to remember things to hear them repeated a few times. With the three leaves and flower petals, the name seems intuitive.

My son is doing well but is very busy with school and social stuff and does not visit often. Perhaps that is good because I should not be playing disc golf, and it is very tempting to throw a round together if he comes by.
