My Actifit Report Card: May 3 2023
Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing fine wherever and whenever this reaches you. I did a short walk in the morning and a bit of yard work in the afternoon.
Later in the afternoon, I took a long nap. I was listening to Noam Chompsky, and I couldn't sleep very well last night. He's really smart, and I like listening to him, but it doesn't make for good bedtime stories. Actually, in my experience, most bedtime stories seem to be designed to scare the kids and give them nightmares, but perhaps they are more politically correct in this day and age.
Anyhow, I'm all better now, but I do need to be careful about what kind of content I consume. I almost drank the Kool-Aid after listening to our "Doomest Cult Leader," the honerable Professor Emmeritus Guy McPherson, who claims we will all be dead soon. I do like his stuff, and I think he makes some valid points. However, I think he is missing some key factors that are not covered in his way of thinking. The world is a very complex interacting system and who really knows what kind of results will happen from the chaos.
I personally think that there will come a great leader riding down from the heavens, preceded by a number of horsemen, 3? or maybe 4? Oh wait, I think I read that somewhere, and it wasn't in a peer reviewed study, lol.
(I'm not trying to be disrespectful of anyone's beliefs out there, I'm just trying to be funny.)
Actually, I think that love will win.
This bird does not frequent this bird house because he or she is a bit too large to fit through the door. It almost appears as if it is waiting for the other birds to come back. There is another bird house on the other side of the house that this bird can fit in. Maybe it was just coming by to say hello.
The great asparagus harvest part two:
Before you guys all start laughing, I did harvest a similar such amount earlier this season. Okay, maybe it's time to start laughing, lol. I do plan to plant some more aspargus crowns and continue to cut back the blackberries more so they have half a chance to spread.
Next year, I'll get a better harvest, hopefully.

Thank you. It is not a big problem for me now because I can relax enough in the afternoon to catch up on my sleep. I have had a lot of problems in the past but I'm much less stressed now. Have a great day too.
the color of the bird you photograph is very beautiful and beautiful indeed if we take a bird portrait it is difficult to get it
I like the way the light shines off this bird's feathers. It is a lot easier to take bird photography with my 30x zoom camera. This photo was taken through a window.
Haha, you couldn't sleep well after listening Neom story? That must have scared the hell out of you. I personally do love watching scary and horror movies late at night.

I have never seen a bird that has such a beautiful color, is it the same size as an eagle?

These birds are much smaller than eagles and hawks. They are kind of funny and like to make hawk noises and imitate other birds sometimes.
