My Actifit Report Card: June 5 2023
My friends and I played played an eighteen-hole difficult disc golf course this morning. I managed to win the round by seven points with a +21 score. None of us were playing as well as we usually do, though.
I keep wanting to get under a +10 on the course, but it is difficult to do that with the way I have been throwing recently. My arm is still causing me troubles with forehand and putting. It could be some time before I play as well as before.
The birds have left the nest:
I'm feeling pretty sure that these two birds were the pair of birds that were in the birdhouse just recently. The mother bird is still feeding them. I'm glad that they made it out into the wild, but I will miss all the activity at the birdhouse.
What it looked like out on the disc golf course today:
I lost one of my discs during the round and had to go back and try to find it. After some more looking, I found it within circle one of the basket. (Around twenty feet away or so)
Here's where I found the disc:
In hindsight, I wish that I had thrown my less stable pink midrange disc. At least we would have had a better chance of spotting it during the round. Blue green and black are not easy colors to spot in the middle of a tree. The less stable disc would not have finished so far left and might have been under the basket if I had thrown it the same. Who knows, though, I did not throw the disc on the line that I intended to.

I have a faded purple disc that is almost clear. It is hard to spot too. I purchased the blue-green and black disc as a backup for it because I wanted something easier to see and a bit less stable. It is tough to find discs in the exact weight, plastic, and color that you like.
I can see where the faded purple disc has the same problem!😲
Once you get a favorite disk,  i’m sure you hate to lose it !😇

It is so much fun to be out in the natural surroundings of the golf course and it is easy to get 16k when you're having a good time with friends.

It was fun to see them develop from the tiny little chirping noises that I noticed several weeks ago.
Don't be discouraged @lightsplasher , he didn't do so badly with his disc game, I think there is progress, even though his arm doesn't feel as good as it should, it will continue to increase progressively every day. Thank you. I do feel like I am making slow improvement. It has been a bit frustrating to not throw as well as I did before but I am encouraged by the progress. At least my backhand throw is almost as good as before, although I can't throw as far. I appreciate your coming by with your words of encouragement and support.

like today's game was not as good as usual but you managed to excel even though the points weren't very good, I hope you find your best form again and can score +10 points like before with your arm that is getting better
I'm glad to see they can finally get out into the wild and increase their numbers, as well as the golf course today which looks so clean and very bright, hope you can find your lost disc again
I did manage to find my lost disc in the tree and someone found the disc I lost in the tournament and turned it in at the Pro shop. I've been lucky in getting my discs back recently.
