My Actifit Report Card: August 20 2023
I relaxed around the house today. I was all ready to go on a short trip, but it was very smoky, and the air quality was bad where I was going. There are a lot of fires in the area, and with everything that happened recently, I was not feeling like going. Not having Internet service was another issue because I would like to be able to hear some news with so many fires around.
It did work out alright, and I will be heading out later in the season.
A flower on a weed in the yard:
I think this might be called a lambs ear plant or something like that.

Our air quality this afternoon was 183 very unhealthy!!!
I never thought about having fires raging, and no Internet access you probably made a wise choice!!😇😀
It was close to 300 down where I was heading. It just didn't feel like a good time to be traveling. Hopefully, the air quality will be improving but I'm not really sure what the weather will be doing either.

I like wild flowers ... ie weeds that have flowers.
I wonder why there are so many fires now.
Some of the most interesting-looking plants are considered weeds. I do like a lot of their flowers.
The short answer to fires is because of anthropogenic climate change. This is a fact by most scientific consensus. The long answer could get me started raging and ranting so we will skip that for now, lol.
Sounds like you made a wise decision considering the circumstances! Relaxing at home all day and prioritizing your health is important. It's great that you'll have the chance to make your trip later in the season. Flowers in the weeds in your yard sound like a charming touch of nature – sheep's ear plants are a lovely addition indeed! 🌼🌿
Right now I think there is no need for you to travel abroad, stay safe in a safe place, if you are healthy, you can definitely travel later. Thank you very much for sharing such a beautiful photography with us.

It's better for you to postpone your trip first, the current fire does occur everywhere, air and smoke greatly affect health
