My Actifit Report Card: November 3 2023
The three of us played disc golf today at a difficult eighteen basket course. I came in second with the scores at +16, +19, and +36.
One of my friends had a personal best score. Nobody lost any discs either. We are getting better about staying on the fairway and not having to look as much for our discs.
I was having issues with my new Hex disc and kept trying to use it when I probably should not have been throwing it. The plastic and weight of the disc are exactly the same as the disc that I lost, but I have not been able to get a clean release with this disc so far. I think it is probably just a lack of trust in it or perhaps some issue with the brand new surface. I'm going to take it out and throw it a bunch more in a practice round to see if I can break it in a bit better.
The new solar panels produced 5.4 kWh by 4 pm today. There was some sunlight, but it was cloudy a lot of the time today. I'm happy to see the system working and wondering how well it will work if the clouds are clear. Tomorrow it is supposed to be rainy, so it might be a while.

I managed to get a rare par (three throws) on this hole. The basket is down the gap to the right at around four hundred feet. There is a steep drop off to the right and some trees that tend to be an issue on the left.

Flick shot up the gap with the Wraith looks like the call
There is no way I can reach the basket with the tight gap and low ceiling. I got the best result with an understable nine speed backhand. I still can't flick a disc like I used to, but it is coming back. I would be worried about the ground action of the Wraith on a low hard flick throw. You certainly don't want to go down the gully to the right it is likely to be a lost disc.
I can't reach it in the air. I got best 300 foot drive.. but Id be trying to skip a extra 75 feet

It's a very fun game of course there, but your friend has the best score in this round so it puts you in second place, there's nothing wrong with continuing to use your new Hex disk even though you're still not using it optimally, this will make you more confident. and of course you will master the new disk sheet
