My Actifit Report Card: December 6 2023
The four of us played an eighteen-hole disc golf course today. I won with a +2 to +3, +5, and +15. It felt like a good round, and I only missed one putt that I think I should have been able to get.
I was playing with only nineteen discs, and that made it a lot easier to move my cart around. In a way I like to have fewer discs to choose from, but it does limit my play just a bit. As long as it does not get really windy or I need to scramble out of a tough area, I don't need some of my discs. The way my cart is designed, either nineteen or over thirty discs, is easy to carry. (If the top rack of the cart is not filled with enough discs, they tend to flop around and fall out.)
A lot of the local disc golf courses were flooded out today. Lots of roads had water flowing over them, too, and some drivers needed to get rescued. I needed to take a longer alternate route to get to the course.
A while back, it was a bit colder and snowed. Recently, it has been warmer and raining. Lots of the lower snow packs melted, and it is flooding now. Usually, this doesn't happen in the winter around here.
