My Actifit Report Card: December 27 2023
My friend and I played disc golf at a moderately difficult eighteen-hole course today. I was having a bit of trouble with the wind and my new shoes. I lost the round with a +6 score to my friend's +3. We played the pitch and putt course, too, and I lost that round as well.
It was a fun day to be out playing. The weather was a bit warm for this time of year and it was cloudy and wet but not raining. The solar panels put out 1.3 kWh of power, which was a lot less than yesterday's over 10 kWh.
Some large animal, possibly an elk, was cleaning its antlers on this tree:

Those are some wild markings on those trees. My 1st thought was bear.
Solar output is less than yesterday it means yesterday was warmer than today, may be the bear marking @lightsplasher
texture or The pattern of the tree looks good and could be art if we are good at coloring like you

some of the wounds on the pockon look like scratches and an animal, possibly a deer, is cleaning its antlers

I have seen big animals cleaning their antlers on TV and the such, but I never remember seeing a photo of the scars that leaves on the trees. Interesting.
The forecast is that the temps will get up to 60 today. That didn't used to be the norm around here for this time of year. We have had cooler weather off and on since mid November, but it keeps waffling back and forth. We have had about three abnormally warm winters here previously, each time I'm thinking it's a fluke and that the next one may freeze us to the bone to make up for it. January and February are usually the coldest months here though, so we'll see !
Have fun carrying out activities. It's true as you said, there are large animals such as deer or other large animals that are cleaning their antlers on the trees.And we can see that there are scratches on the tree.
