My Actifit Report Card: December 28 2023
My son and I played a very muddy round of disc golf today. My son won with a +3 to my +5. It was very windy and wet with just a little bit of rain.
It did not rain so much to cause any real issue with grip, but the wind was such that I was throwing my more stable discs most of the time.
My drives today were not an issue, but as usual, I lost a few points to missing some short throws that I should be able to make. I think it would really help if I practiced making putts into the basket every day. I do have a practice basket, but I rarely use it.
Maybe tomorrow I will try to move my practice basket into an easier place to get to so that I will be more encouraged to use it.

There was some fruit left on this tree. I think they might have been apples, but I wasn't sure. They were kind of hard to get to and probably dried out a bit. I kind of like dried apples, so if my friend was not along, I might have been tempted to knock a couple down and see if they were edible. As it was, I didn't want to risk a delay of the game penalty.

I think your son is well trained by you, he played a lot of games with you he almost win all the games, well done my friend. Autumn season has its own colors @lightsplasher
Better to do something simple to motivate yourself. That's why your move will be good as you try to move the practice basket to an easier place tomorrow. Good luck to you. The color of the sky looks really amazing. You have done a lot of beautiful photography.

Try and start using the practice basket it will help a lot, am sure you are proud of your son he actually learn fast by your teaching to have been able to win you in the game.

One of the games I play with my cousins (when we were kids) is to throw stones or sticks at mangos and see which one is the sharpshooter among us 😅
Try shooting the dried fruits with the disc, but don’t throw too hard as it’s difficult to find the discs after 😅

Rain can delay our activities, and playing disc golf can be problematic
I think I have never seen a dried apple still on the tree. I've seen them in the grocery store already peeled and ready to re-hydrate to use for cooking and baking. You would think some critter would have cleaned the tree bare.
a fun game of course for you and your son today even though the disc is very muddy this is definitely so fun and the obstacle you always face is the wind I'm sure you will find a good shot on the short throw and score
