My Actifit Report Card: March 29 2024

I played disc golf in the afternoon out at the local course near the river. There were a lot of local disc golfers out when I got there. The weather was really nice but just a little bit windy.

Several people greeted me when I showed up to the course. Most I recognized, but some I did not. I waved at everyone and joined up with a group of three friends who wanted to play.

We played doubles, and the teams were very close, and we ended up in a tie at -4. It was nice to go under par on the course. I don't usually do that when I play by myself, but occasionally, I do.

One of the guys I was playing with was complaining about pain and stiffness in the muscle near the back of the hip. It makes me think that what I'm complaining about in my lower back might just be the result of this muscle being overworked. It seems to be a fairly common issue among disc golfers.

It seems like stretching is helpful, so I'm going to try to do that more consistently. I will also try not to overdo it too much and throw a bit smoother if possible.

stretching would be helpful, I think walking fast would do also

Sometimes my back hurts and I have no idea what I did to bring it on Lol!😇

I've been trying to stretch every morning but I'm not consistent at doing it. My back and lower hip area flare up a lot. Maybe I need to do some exercise to strengthen some of these muscles. What can flare things up for me is constantly being pulled a bit off balance when holding the dog leash. Other times I have no idea either.

Stretching definitely helps my friend!😊
Liz has been hurting more recently and her work has limited the days she can hike…….
I think that has contributed to her pain!🙄

Stretching isn't bad at all but you must be careful so you don't dmfet injuries. I am glad you met up with other players

It was a great day with great count in complimenting the day. I thought as much that the pain in your lower back was the result of stress during your activities, you just need not stress yourself that much ☺️☺️☺️.

It seems a lot of people were eager to play gulf that afternoon. Probably because it was weekend.

You are not too far from the cause of the back pain. The muscle usually bends to get a good position to hit the disc.

playing with a draw is normal, and often happens in games, back pain has become common for glof players, have a nice day

Stretching is the best way to overcome that pain... hope you feel better today...

When we meet people who are playing golf it feels very proud, because there are many people who are interested in playing this game, I salute you, even though in the last few days your back hurts but you still want to play.
